What if it is a specific class name like, solutions in math? How about freshman in school? What I've read suggests no, but I wanted to check. Also how about this sentence, did I cap. it correctly? "I hope you haven't pulled The Chariot card again." In a deck of tarot, the wording on the card is capitalized.

Math should not be capitalized but a specific name of a math class SHOULD be. For Example: Geometry would be capitalized in a sentence. " I have math next. Boy do i hate Geometry!"

A freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior would not be capitalized in a sentence.

Yes, that sentence is done correctly, it's the same thing with the math sentence i explained. Card would not be capitalized but the certain type of card would.

I would suggest that you refer to a handy little book called "The Elements of Style" by E.B. White and William Strunk that sets all grammatical conundrums straight. As far as I know, Solutions in Math would be because it's a name proper, but freshman would not be capitalized. In the case of the tarot card I would only capitalize "Chariot". The only reason both words were capitalized on the card is because it's just a card and they're not about to leave one of only two words on it lowercase. Once again I urge you to consult what I've come to call "Strunk & White".

The only class or subject that is always capitalized is English. Otherwise you might study math or history, but you also might have to go to that History 111 class or this Match 24 class.

You capitalize Math and Freshman if you are using it as a name to identify a certain person or class. If it is just in general, then it is just math or freshman.

no, math shouldn't be capitalized.
only names of of language (English, Spanish, Latin) classes should be capitalized.
other classes that are capitalized are ones with numbers (Algebra 1, Spring Musical Part II).

hope that helps!
