Somewhere down south by the blacks most likely. During the depression period for which you speak, terms like 'Po Hoes' was slang for 'Poor Prostitutes'. Terms like 'Axe em' means 'ask them' orignated by the blacks up north after the depression. Not enough room in here to cover them all, but give the blacks credit where credit is due.
