Hi, I have 2 kids one is 5 and the other is 8, I love indian culture, and I want to read some nice traditional indian stories to them, if you can tell me author´s name or a Book name, I will apreciate it. We live in USA. Texas. Thanks in advance.

At school i'm doing a project on the first fleet. The convicts who were sent on the ships and then farmed the land at the other end, would they have already served their time in jail and then come to Australia or would they just have certain restrcitions in australia until their sentence was up?

I've been trying my hardest to learn how to draw, due to my situation its been rather hard. (Dealing with the loss of my parents). Though tutorials dont seem to help me very much. What Im looking for is I guess kinda of like manga. Online or offline (Jacksonville FL area) both would work maybe I dont.

Seriously. Why are so many of them so insensitive? Is it the testosterone? Is it that they just don't have the same emotional capacity as women or is it because they're socialized to stifle or deny their feelings?

Female, 20, new to acting, need a one-minute monologue ASAP. I am really stressed out, I have so much other school work to do, so I guess I am feeling desperate about this!

My instructor was pretty general with topics and sources of where to get them from (she said no shakespeare though ??), just as long as they are relevant to my age/sex. Also any tips on how to be less nervous when I actually do the monologue would be awesome. Thanks SO much!! =)

Abriel could easily see the red pair of eyes floating towards them from the back rooms.This had to be a nightmare,she thought as Mel jumped over the the dusty couch that they had pushed in front of the broken door and onto the wet ground outside.She then reached in to help her baby sister ,Lydelle .
Kenny,Adreine,s brother, went next,and as Abreil made her way over the cushions,she spun once more to see that the eyes had settled on her.
"Abriel,we gotta go!"
Before she could say anything at all,she felt Adreine's heavy handed grip on her shoulder push her back ,over the couch and onto ground.She then heard the soft thud of Adreine striking the ground behind her and both girls then scrambled to their feet.
Kenny,Mel and Lydele were already down the street ,not sure to keep running or wait for them."Just keep going!"Abriel screamed.The rain had stopped,and the air was left with an icy chill that left their breaths like smoke in their faces.

I found my grandma's old picture album from long long ago. I had heard about her tragic love story about a man she married back then. They were married in Texas. She moved from Texas to Washington while he was in the war. The letters he sent were never given to her. In the meantime he thought she had left him and remarried. She spent the rest of her life broken hearted. I found a picture of him the other day in an album. He was a beautiful man and now I'm so curious what ever happened to him. All I know is his name is Gene, he's from Maine, met my grandma in Texas and was in the army in WW2, I think he was a sailor. How can I find out more about him?

I always say that I'm not intelligent enough to do things..For example, I want to become a doctor, but I always say I'm not quite smart enough..

Is that humbleness?

The reason why I say I'm not smart because I want to be humble..I don't want to be/sound arrogant..I don't like cocky people either.

Is this humbleness? Or am I damaging my self-confidence?

My e-mail research partner who had access to these things has gone missing. I am desperately looking for the father and brother of my great grand father. He wasnt close to is fam, but I have these two leads:

He has a brother, Charlie Dickson (born approx 1870) who has children Holsie, Vertie, and "Red". And his father may be named George Dickson (born approx 1850, blacksmith?) from TN. As of 1920, both were listed in the Houston Co., TN 1920 census.

Can someone PLEASE share the records for George Dickson, Erin (city), Houston County, Tennessee that list his children in his home, perhaps the 1880 or 1890 census? Walter B. and Charlie should be in there cause they're only a year or two apart.

my boyfriend and i are going on a road trip out west this summer. we're starting in chicago, then definitely going through missouri, colorado, maybe california, back through arizona, new mexico, and then back to chicago.

we're not sure what cities we're going to stop in yet.

What are museums that I shouldn't miss out this way?
