I have following words hanging in my room in my house by the side of the door.

I like these words, but I find them hard to fulfil in my daily life. There is so much wrong sometimes coming up, which hinders me to be kind and patient and to always trust and always hope and always preserver, I wonder what is this what stands between being at ease with ourselves and others. What is this “dis” in front of our own “ease”. It is the dissonance, the distrust, the whatever, I do not know and I am just pondering about this……

Love is patient,
Love is kind,
It does not envy,
It does not boast.

It is not proud,
It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,

It keeps no record or wrongs,
Love does not delight in evil,
But rejoices in truth.

It always protects,
Always trusts,
Always hopes,
Always perseveres.

I have a friend who wants to be an actress who lives in Hollywood. To get an agent, you have to have film experience and roles. BUT to get roles, you need to have an agent so he can give you auditions. How do you get roles, real movie roles without having an agent?

I was just wondering how extensive the burning was and if congress and everything was still able to operate in the capital after it was burnt down by the British in the War of 1812.

Thanks,

I presently have the Bible (King James Version) and I know it is one of the best translations executed by those two formidable teams of scholars at Oxford and Westminster, I read some parts where there are nice, wise quotes and apply them in my writing. More ideas or scholarly suggestions? Thanks.

You Already Know

I would say "I LOVE YOU"
But you already know
I would prove that I care for you
But it already shows
I don't know why I feel this way
But thats the way it goes
Out of a garden oof flowers
You're the deep red rose
When I see you I still get chills
Through my head, fingers, and toes
And again I would mumble "I LOVE YOU"
But of course...you already know

I FEEL.

I feel happy on the outside but do they see beyond that?
I feel sad on the inside becuause i know they dont.
I feel loved but yet unloved at the same time.
Why I feel this way, I dont know.
I feel lonely, but yet im with people I love.
I feel content, but inside im screaming.
I feel angry, but i want to hug someone.
Why I feel this way, I dont know.
All that I do know, is that i can feel.

We are crafting a society that is oppressive and dangerous.

Fear of the few is leading to stricter laws and tougher penalties, many of which are catching what would others wise be called innocent bystanders and crushing them under the wheels of this runaway train called ‘justice’.

At the same time, we can hardly do anything anymore without fear of litigation. Whoops someone trips over something you left on the ground. They take you to court for all you've got. It’s their fault for not looking where they are going but you are the one who pays.

When someone commits a crime, they are branded for the rest of their life in many cases, he is an armed burglar, she is a con, etc. Although this may be far in the past and the person has turned over a new leaf none of this matters.

Laws protecting the guilty party force the innocent to take more drastic action, and then they are found to be the worse party. Kids are bullied so much that they finally snap and take a gun to school. Gangs rove the streets breaking into places, robbing people at knife point until the residents can’t take it anymore.

People want only for themselves, giving nothing and wanting everything. Bigger house, faster car, but who cares who you have to step on the way up.

This is just to name a few

Why are we letting this happen? Why don't we stop it before it's too late?

Thanks.

I am reading this poem I wrote in assembly tomorow.(I am 13) here it is:
Howling, crying in the night
their voices pierce the air
and echo around.
One right after another,
needing to fill the otherwise empty sky
until they must once again
hide while the rest of the world
is awake.

what do you think and what should I call it?
Thanks!

Do you find that you're your own worst enemy sometimes: procrastinating your dreams, running from what you really want, ruining a good relationship for example? Why do you think that is?

What are you more afraid of? Failure or success...?
