Do you find that you're your own worst enemy sometimes: procrastinating your dreams, running from what you really want, ruining a good relationship for example? Why do you think that is?

What are you more afraid of? Failure or success...?

I have often said that I am one or the other.
I am a success at failure.
I am a failure at success.
Someday I'll decide.
But as to your question. I have found that most of my failures were generated by my own actions not those of someone else.

i bump into myself sabotaging myself each of the time... i wager it really is because i do no longer opt to get damage like I did even as i replaced into youthful, and if I definitely don't have any expectancies about no longer something and under no circumstances be disillusioned than the completed opposite. i do no longer imagine i'm more advantageous petrified of more advantageous than the different. If I fail, then I fail. And, nicely, I in simple terms won't be able to have that. yet when I prevail in something then i think like I definitely could artwork harder and harder and harder till I placed on myself out and develop right into a failure it extremely is too busy to purpose to prevail.... Oh, the vicious cycle it extremely is pass or fail!

What we are afraid of is turning over a new leaf....making changes...becoming better.

St. Augustine wrote in the 5th century "Give me chastity, O Lord.....but not yet."

He knew he was a womanizer and must put away his sin but he was afraid to take the step forward. Yes it would be wonderful to be good....but then that would mean we would have to stop being bad!

Ahhhhh. human nature. We do sabotage ourselves. We listen to the Devil's lies, I guess. "Not today" he says. "Put it off, there's time."

Yes amp, yes, yes and yes again I sabotage myself.

Why is this so? Exactly what you ask here, is what I ask myself at present!! So I actually look forward to some good answers.

Just before my thought to be and be conceived, i sabotaged myself... for a moment I became less than all powerful, all knowing, etc.... just for moment... to bring Love where Love seems not to be.
