Some websites say free, but then it turns out it's just a trick and only the first 7 days are free, like www.exploretalent.com.

Hi i need some help translating this poem into something easier to understand. I have already tried for a few hours but i just can't do it. Even if you don't really know the whole thing i would like you to tell me because it might help me figure out other parts of the poem. Thank you!

Night
by Louise Bogan

The Cold remote islands
And the blue estuaries
Where what breathes, breathes
The restless wind of the inlets
And what drinks, drinks
The incoming tide;

Where shell and weed
Wait upon the salt wash of the sea,
And the clear nights of stars
Swing their lights westward
To set behind the land;

Where the clinging to the rocks
Renews itself forever;
Where, again on cloudless nights,
The water reflects
the firmament's partial setting;

-O remember
In your narrowing dark hours
That more things move
Than blood in the heart.

Thank You!!!

it, does it make a sound?
-Not if it lands on a bunch of pillows.

Trying to establish a baseline here, as the local library is a little impoverished. Conventionally poets publish a number of pieces in journals and magazines, then begin soliciting publishers to print a collection of their verse (the ones that appeared in journals plus a bunch of new ones). Is anyone aware of just about how many need to be in print beforehand?

It's about a boy and his grandfather. His grandfather makes a shirt of fantasic fabric for the boy, but the boy rips it. The grandfather then makes a tie from the remainder of the fabric, but that too gets torn. The grandfather then makes a button, which the boy loses. The boy begs and begs his grandfather to make something else from the fabric, but the grandfather merely states that one cannot make something from nothing.

My director randomly flipped at my friend and I because I was doodling while he was giving notes. I feel horrid because I totally wasn't trying to suggest that what he was saying wasn't important or anything, and I hope he isn't really mad at me or anything...

In Ibsen’s A Doll House at the end of the play Nora leaves Torvald saying that the most wonderful thing of all would be to have a real marriage and after she leaves a hope flashes across his mind and he says “the most wonderful thing of all?” In your opinion what do you think will happen next? Will Torvald want Nora back will she accept him? This is not a homework question I just want to know your opinions. Thanks.

I have received so so so so much from younger folks for my puter that has saved me money, time, energy etc. I thought I'd offer my personal life experiences since 1950. I have won best answer on several where high school or whatever age is studying items as history for them in this period. I have a good long term memory and can give facts that are realistic and from a regular human perspective. just thought I'd offer, I've received so much help here it makes me want to cry for joy. If you knew my life's condition you would understand, just take my word for it :)

i'm trying to find a book to read. i like books about things like evil geniuses (like Hannibal) and psychological thriller types (like Fight Club) and also science fiction books (not the ones about aliens, but the ones that deal with psychological factors, like in the fountain, where the character lives in 3 time periods at once)

does anyone know of a good book that falls under one of these genres?

(and preferably a fictional book, not a biography or anything)

The scariest I ever read was "Plague 99" by Jean Ure when I was about 15. I'm probably harder to scare now, but I can't recall reading anything else that's ever made me too frightened to fall asleep in case the world isn't there in the morning.
What was the last book to give you a really good scare?

What is a book of quotations and what is a jacket of a book? The Book of Quotations is obviously some kind of book that has quotations (I think)... What is it used for? I tried to find out, but I can't find any answer.

Also... what is a jacket of a book? What is the main purpose of the jacket? No, not a coat or something... ;D

I was told by a friend that the series was connected with Desperation and The Regulators. I've read and love both of these novels.

My questions are:
Is the Dark Tower Series related with these other two novels?
If so, how (please no spoilers to the DT series just how they're connected)?
If not, are they similar to the other novels?
What are the novels included in the Dark Tower Series?
