Well, if you want to perform, stage fright is something you will have to get over.
First, you can try pretending that it is only your family and friends who are listening to. Also, I've found that I've become a lot more confident when I sing with my friends, loudly and out in public. Suprisingly, after doing that often enough, I was able to perform a solo without the nervousness from people watching me. Honestly, just putting yourself out there and not caring what others think is the best way to get around this, but I realize that can be a very hard step. Try not to think so much about the people who are listening to you.
Best of luck, I'm sure you will do amazing.

the best way to get over stage fright is to perform as much as possible. now i'm not saying you have to perform at a concert every week, but try to regularly sing for at least a small audience. start out just singing for your family as often as possible. then move to your friends. take advantage of every performance opportunity no matter how small. I've been performing since I was 4, but I was still always nervous up until last year. but recently, i started singing for everyone and everything and now i am very rarely bothered by performances! just remember that you are a GREAT singer and tell yourself that you are giving the audience the privilege of listening to you. i'm in middle school too and i know it's hard because you're afraid of what people will say and think-i went through the same thing-but just remember that performances are based on opinion. no matter whether you are a nobody or a famous celebrity, there will always be people who like you and people who don't. just get out there and enjoy singing!!!!good luck!!!

Remember to do your best.... People aren't going to go to the show because they have to... but because they want to. A talent show is a great way to let your star shine brightly. Remember... most of the people in the show probably feel the same way you do. But once you hit that first note... the fear should be gone... Just go out there and have fun. Don't think to much about it and don't think about what other people will say. You are doing this for you. At the beginning of an audition or talent show I always feel like I'm going to mess up big... thing is though once I start singing... I begin to get into my comfort zone.

You say you love to sing. You said you did it before so what's the problem? Most people are too shy to stand up and even speak in front of other people so they give a lot of slack to those (especially in their own school) for having the guts to do it.
Even if you do get some jerk (usually because they are jealous) who makes some dumb comment, there will be at least 10 people in the group that will come back with "I don't see your butt up there trying it!"
Concentrate on how much you like to sing and the happiness you feel when you do it. That should help with the nerves. Consider as well how you will feel afterwards. Would you rather think "I did my best and I had a great time" or "I wish had just tried and now its too late"
You know what you gotta do, so get to practicing!

It's difficult to sing in front of an audience. Sometimes your best bet is to look not at the people but maybe the doors leading into the room. This way your present your face (which I'm sure is beautiful) but you avoid making too much eye contact. Also, it's not a bad idea while resting to look to your right or left just to present your profile. Also, keep in mind, most of these people don't know you and may never see you again so what have you got to lose. You can go up there and give it your best shot or avoid it and never present anyone with the gift of your wonderful voice.

whenever you're nervous about something, it's best not to think about it that much, just go out there and do it. don't think about how many people or watching, or what will happen if you mess up, or what if no one likes me, because you obviously have some talent if you have been in the talent show before. the more you practice in front of audiences, the better you will feel about yourself performing. when you are actually on stage, don't focus on any one person, just stare at the back wall or a point off in space and just enjoy being able to sing out loud for fun. if you think about it, the only difference between singing in the shower and singing in front of even millions of people is the mental aspect. if you overthink it, you will freak yourself out. "there is nothing to fear but fear itself..."

go in the bathroom in the handicap stall about 10 minutes before u go on. Pretend to yourself that ur "the Stuff" and actually act it out. Walk around the stall with the same amount of confidence you would if you were ranting and raving to someone u really want to give a peice of ur mind to and silently act like you're telling someone off. Then, right before you're supposed to go on come out of the bathroom & use the energy of what you've just done to your advantage.

The best advice my vocal coach ever gave me was this:
Every audience wants to love you. Nobody ever goes to a show expecting to hate it - they all go expecting to have a great time. Go out there and Let Them Love You. It is your gift to the audience to allow them to see you shine.
Always follow your passion darling - when your heart soars you can't go wrong.
Good luck - and as they say backstage, Break a Leg!

You should take several deep breaths before you start to sing. This will calm you down if you take slow deep breaths
