Alright, bear with me for a minute...We transplant kidneys, hearts, bones, and stufff. IMAGINE with me we could transplant a brain. I wonder...would the person then think and retain the donors thoughts? So, if the donor was a creative genius, would the recipient have those powers, or do you think the brain would merely be an organ, waiting for thought impulses to create the thoughts of the recipient?

If we are in the third millennium, the twenty-first century, and the two hundred first decade, then in a few months when i turn 17 will that actually be my 18th birthday? My first birthday would have been when I was born and my second birthday would have been when I turned 1.

Hey, I need to write a paper on medieval armor for a history report, uses, types, how armor changed over the years, but have a billion other assignments to write, and the internet isn't helping me. If you have any info on this topic, or no where i can get it that would be really helpful.

Thank you,

Shania

First, I must admit to loving her work almost abundantly. I have read all of the Vampire Chronicles up to The Blackwood Farm (which I am currently reading) and soon thinking about moving on to her last novel in the chronicle. I have read some reviews and I am certainly not loving them;in fact I am horrified.
The reviews make it seem as if her skill died out and there is no more of Anne Rice to be found in that last book. Since I cannt live without books, or without knowing exactly what I'm going to read next, I must as for some assisstance.
Would Anne Rice fans reccomand Blood Canticle, or would it be ok to just skip her last "chapter" Should I try her other works? I gave The Witching Hour a try and I hated it. I am also interested in her Sleeping Beauty series, but don't know if it's worth it.
Now, for the grand question. Should I just move on to another author after The blackwood farm? What other authors would you reccomand to a die-hard Anne Rice Fan?

Here we are with about thre days left in Black History Month and seems if it never happened. There's seem to have been more atention payed to "Presidents Day" and "Fat Tuesday", which by the way seem to happen during our month as well. Whicj cause me to think does anyone even care anymore, especially African Americans?
Now I realize this could be a great thing in the sense that we've come so far as people and a nation that it's not an issue anymore. With the fact that we have three minorities running for the Oval Office and one happens to be African American.
Or that our young people have gotten so caught in this new age society of rap music, clothes, drugs, and money that they just don't care anymore. And their sense of pride is tide to the next pair of Jordan's and not who made it possible for Micheal Jordan.
I feel it's the latter, our pride, dignity, and self worth is gone. And replaced with the lust for looking good and not feeling good about ourselves. Tell what do you think?

Attention Art and Religion afficionados! I need your help. I just purchased a beautiful canvas of Raphael's "Disputation of the Eucharist". I wanted to know who is in the painting and I can't find much on it when I "Google it". I know there is of course the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I see Mary, John the Baptist, Peter, Paul, perhaps King David, but I can't identify anyone else! If anyone can give me any information on this magnificent piece of art, I would be grateful!
