well i think he is one of the most amazing philosophers of all time, who had great writings and ideas about anarchy!
and i almost agree with all of his anarcho communist/pacifist ideas!
anarchy isn't chaos! don't judge things too quickly!

I grew up poor so I did everything I could to grow beyond that. I believe that money is evil but necessary so I wanted to build a life in which money isn't an issue. The majority of marriages end because of financial difficulty and I think that's a stupid reason to end something sacred. If whoever leaves me I want it to be because she just doesn't like me.

Anyway, when do I call it good? I would think life would be very unfulfilling if I spend the entire thing trying to make an even bigger paycheck--like having a goal that you never really reach.

I just recently got a phone call from John Robert Powers saying that they wanted me to audition for their company. They called on my wife's cellphone, which no one really has, and I told them I never filled out anything saying I wanted to be an actor, neither did my wife. They had all of my info, all the way down to my weight. So I told them I wasnt interested, but I have 3 kids that would probably have a better chance, and took them to an audition. To make a long story short, they only wanted 1 of my kids and said that we have to pay money upfront for him to take these classes. Is this a scam? How did they get my information??

Jan Vermeer
c. 1670

Art Gallery of Wynn, Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada

(Once property of the late Baron Frédéric Rolin. It was sold July 7, 2004 to Steve Wynn. .

During the initial decades following its first publication in 1904, the picture was universally accepted and published as an autograph work by Vermeer. Then, following the dramatic events of the affair of the Van Meegeren forgeries of Vermeer, De Vries, the Director of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, and the recognized leading scholar on Vermeer, expressed doubts about the authenticity of the picture.

After more than 10 years of extensive research by a team of leading scholars, the painting has now been proposed as a secure addition to Vermeer's limited oeuvre. Not all scholars, however, agree.

For example, I may be offered gold, but gold doesn't make me happy. Let's say I prefer silver although I know it's not as valuable as gold.

So in this situation, what's better: being happy and sticking to your own preferences or choosing something just because you know it's better although it makes you feel empty?

Note that the examples are supposed to be metaphors.
