Judy Blume does have a book for young adults. I think it was called Forever. You'll like it.

I think that I was about that age when I read The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison. It was a great book, to the point that I still remember the entire thing 10 yrs later.

Thomas Harris' books,
"Red Dragon"
"Silence of the Lambs"
"Hannibal"
In that order. Don't waste your time reading "Hannibal Rising" because it completely degrades and ruins the mystique of Hannibal Lecter. The books are far less horror centered than the movies. The real appeal of the books is the intellect and detail in which they are written. Very, very good series. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed, I promise.

Um, those would not be classified as good books. Don't destroy yourself when you're only 14. You'll for sure regret it later. I would recommend With an Everlasting Love by Kay Arthur.

When I was your age, my favorite book was Mr. and Mrs. Bo Jo Jones by Ann Head. You could also check out The Pigman by Paul Zindel.

"The Outsiders" is a classic by S.E. Hinton. Definitely a must read for all teens.
Anything by S.E Hinton is good. Lois Duncan also has many good books for that age range.
