Any theories or predictions? I'm so psyched and sad at the same time. I can't believe its going to be over, I don't know how I'm going to live without another harry potter book to look forward to!!

Personally, I think...
a) Harry may be a Horcrux
b) I have a terrible feeling Hagrid will die. I PRAY that I am wrong. Hagrid, and I'm not sure about the other, maybe Ron or Hermione? Or Draco, that may be interesting. Remember at the end of book 6 Draco almost came back to the good side but then Snape barged in....
Ahhh I dunno. I just can't wait. I'm going to the midnight release as well with my mother and a friend. Haha I'm way too psyched, it hasn't quite hit me yet that this is the end but after it's over I'm going to be sobbing, either over the book or the end of the series....

i am sure its gonna be great with a happy ending. voldemort will say bye bye and our beloved harry, hermione and ron will get the best luck because they deserve it...

I am right there with you. Jo has said too that 2 main character are going to die. A place in England has said they are going to set up a support group for the people who have problems dealing with the death of these 2 main characters. I can't wait for the book to come out, but I don't want it to be over with either. We have all the book, movies and audio books. We are listening to the audio books now, in order to lead us up to book 7. Here I am, a 42 year old mom of 3 and I am just as excited as they are.

I agree with you on the horcux thing. If Harry were the horcux (instead of the snake) and voldemort used his mom's death, then harry would have to kill himself to kill voldemort. The PERFECT tragic ending. And I wouldn't mind seeing Harry go (Don't get me wrong, I'd be in tears) as long as he died fighting, like he said he would want to in 6. The only problem is, who would kill Voldemort? Would Harry kill himself and Voldemort at the same time? What do you think about RAB?

Love her books and am sad to see them end. Can't wait until the release date! A girlfriend and I will of course be doing the midnight festivities, much to the chagrin of the hubbies. Age is just a number!

I'm thinking the same for Potter #7:Deathly Hollows.I think toward the ending 10 chapters Voldemort suceedingly tries to kill Ron or Hermione as Harry yells, "RON! NO!" or "HERMIONE!LOOK OUT!NO!" then he cries for a few moments for either. Voldemort then says"stand up, Potter. Even your muggle mother put up more of a fight than that." Harry stands up with a look of determination on his face. Then he quickly cries out a spell, of which Voldemort evades, then puts the imperius curse on him. He laughs, the says"Potter, do you really think you can defeat me? Fool! You are no match for me!" With a twisted, dreadful laugh, he says," Now with I myself as a witness, Harry Potter, famous, mudblood so-called"Sorceror" shall kill himself! I command you to kill yourself!" Harry struggles as his hand holding his wand turns toward himself. With a final struggle, Harry turns the wand towards Voldemort just as Avada Kedavra exits his lips. Voldemort screams, crumbles, utters a "CURSE YOU POTTER!" and then finally dies.
Thats only part of my prediction. I won't bore you with the ending details.(Too Many!)Besides, J.k. already said she WOULD NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, KILL HARRY OFF BECAUSE SHE KNOWS SHE WOULD GET HATE MAIL. SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT HARRY! :) Who knows? maybe Hermione and Ron will die...NOOO!

please don't be real!
i'm a big harry potter fan myself.
i feel the same way as you do.
since dumbledore died,
mcgonnagal (or whatever the spelling is) will take over hogwarts.
harry will be an auror, hermione might take over mcgonagal's position as griffindor head.
and ron....a "side-kick" (as always)
harry learns different kinds of curses throughout the story (???)

I think that it is going to be a good book, probably people will die, some might live, but yeah it is sad, I love the set. Now I can wait for the movies.

i know i can't wait for the 7th book yet i'm so sad too. j.k. said she is going to kill off harry!noooooooooooooooooooo! well if harry die i think ginny is going to die too because in the 6th book there was a part about harry and ginny understood each other completely and as if they became one, if harry die, ginny is probably goin to die also.

I think part of Voldemort's soul is in Harry's scar.
