Here's one:

Fate had them born into the families that they were born into... families which happened to be at war with each other. If fate had been kinder, they would have been born into familes that were allies, and thus been able to live their lives happily instead of killing themselves.

Hope that helps...

lol I am learning to this too. Fate is to blame because the timing was off. If juliet would have woken up 30 seconds earlier Romeo would still be alive. And if Romeo and whomever it was would have foughten a little longer in the tumb than juliet would have had the time to wake up. If the friar would have went straight to the tumb he could have told romeo about the potion once again, timing was to blame and timing was beyond their control their for this tragic incident was indeed brought upon by fate.

Fate was the reason that Romeo missed the note from Juliet by a few minutes. Fate was the reason that Juliet awoke right after Romeo drank the poison. Fate was the reason they met and fell in love in the first place.

You may have read some greek mythology?

In this case I mane the story of Atalanta...

Meleger (Spelling not sure) was the son of a king.

on the day of his birth one of the 3 fates appeared and said "As long as this stick remains unburned your son lives" So his mother locked it in a chest.

Years later, his mother lost her mind and burned the stick.

In Romeo and Juliet

Fate caused Romeos orignal love Rosaline not to love him back

Fate caused them to have one dance togethet

Fate opened for them to spend a night talking

Fate suggested marrige

Fate caused the frair to agree to many them

Fate caused Romeo to run into Tybalt and be exiled as a result of slaying Tybalt

Fate caused Romeo and Juliet to have one close intamite night together

Fate caused Juliets father to move forward his idea of marrige of her to Paris

Fate sent Juliet to the frair

Fate brought the sleeping potion

Fate that she drank it

Fate that Romeo missed the letter by seconds

Fate that Romeo bought the posion

Fate hat he drank it

Fate that juliet awakened seconds later and killed herself also

And fate that the frair arrived only a few minutes late to Romeo

Hope this helps you!

In the beginning of the play there is a line that says something along the lines of "star crossed lovers, to meet there doom" something similar. During the Elizabethian period horoscopes played a big deal in everyday life. the star crossed term means that Romeo and Juliet had zodiac signs that made there love "unworkable". This caused the two to fall so in love and in the end have huge problems. its all about the time period, lol read the puns in it again helps a buttload!
