I've seen paper proudly proclaim it is acid-free, and heard that one should avoid storing artwork against acidic surfaces or even TOUCHING the paper with one's fingers during the drawing process, blending with tissue paper instead of fingers. This last one especially bothers me, since I often use my fingers for blending.

What happens to a drawing that is exposed to acidic paper and skin? Does it get blotchy? Do the colors change? Can anyone provide a before-and-after image of a drawing that has changed due to acidity?

I have an interesting question. Do you think god is the creator of the universe, man kind and practically everything or do you think science is? Give a good theological reason for your answer.

My character's name is Dralco. He comes from a family that has sympathy for the poor people on their land. They are merciful and kind.

Dralco on the other hand does not see a point to all of this kindness since the poor will always need something. So to him, their "wish list" will always be endless. He does think that he is better than them because the poor are often refered to as the "helpless" and he sees them as weak.
He sees himself as strong. He is a sadist and a murderer.

So he can change into animals but I want the animal that he changes the most into to be symbolic of his personalitiy. I just can't think of one.

Do you ever read books outside of required class books? i'm just wondering because i know me and my best friend have always read and read and read nomatter what.. im a highschool sophomore and am nerdy enough to keep count and i've gotten to where i barely read much anymore.. last year i read 35 books and thought to myself "whats happening to me?" because thats soo few for a whole year.. and classmates caught wind of this and said "you read 35 books.. in one year?" and upon inquiry i learned nothing i didn't already know, but is still alarming, that most of them have prolly read maybe that many books in their lives...

is it really uncommon to read for pleasure anymore? I admit i read childrens books that offer no difficulty but i still read them because i enjoy them!... yes.. i still have every intention of reading every Nancy Drew book ever published... i know im a dork.. but whatever! im still appalled that me and my friend are the only people we know who ever read for fun!!

My unlce died in vietnam I never got to know him yet many say he was a hero. I didn't want a hero I needed my uncle ! What did he die for. So the USA could pull out of vietnam and abandon the people that helped us there . The US left and many people that helped the usa were killed by the Viet Kong. The fall of sagan etc this all happened . Now Korea has the atomic bombs and power to destroy countries .So why did I lose A 20 year old yuong man . That is now an uncle I can never know. What was this all for ? And why are we losing our people to kill other people. Can't the usa just spend our money here to make the usa safer. Please save our people, our friends our families ! Otherwise when you lose someone to a forien war you to will have an empty hole in your heart ! Or more holes or empty spaces if you have already lost someone.

My character is a mean, cold-hearted person that does not believe in mercy or helping the poor people inhabiting his land.

His birth name is Cleman Reynard, meaning merciful, pure, love, honest, incorrupt.

Cleman comes from a family that believes everything that he does not. He despises his family and the family's sympathy for the poor and later kills his father and changes his name.

He will later on in my story change his name into Dralco (from Draco, a star constellation that LOOKS like a dragon but is really a snake-he betrays a couple friends) Dralco is a sadist and later becomes known as a notorious masked killer.

So throughout the story which should I refer to him as. I get confused in the beginning, because the readers do not know that you will change his name or anything. But when he does, I don't want to call Dralco as Cleman either.

My number one enemy is Sparknotes.com... i think the idea of a quick and easy way for students to slack off their word is sickening. And this is comming from the views of a 16 year old girl... I, personally, fear the day that some of these people around me start making decisions that impact other peoples lives... I had a highschool senior as me to explain 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' to her... and they were assigned to read the easy, modifyed version... and she was an Honor student!!! I read the original version a few weeks before start of my freshmen year and understood it.. im not saying im smart or anything, cuz my grades reflect that im not, but im saying that its sad that a highschool senior on Honor level classes is lazier than a 14 year old girl!!!

I know plenty of CP students that, instead of reading the assigned books, go on the internet and get the summary of the book and still pass with as good a grade as the students who read the assigned books and then some!
