Get Familiar with the music,
Practice in a mirror., Practice, Do alot of Body rolls, , Eye Contact is important, when performing your dance, make sure to use body contact ( as long as this is your boyfriend ) meaning , brush your hair across his inner thighs, while touching his shoulders, do side profile wiggles, play with your hair,straddle his legs while changing positions in your routine, don't sit on them but straddle to change directions, etc.. if it is your first time , try not to laugh.

as long as youre comfortable moving your hips, you should be fine. dance in general is all about how fluid and easy you can make your body move. That smoother you can roll your hips, and dolphin your body, the sexier it will be. Most of the time people just arn't comfortable with letting their hips and body go a little. If you're all set with that, you shouldn't have a problem. If not, then try doing some exercises to familarize yourself with how your hips move by keeping the rest of your body straight and pushing your hips forward, back, side to side, and circling them to the left and right. Just don't do the spongebob squarepants thing where you're pushing your hips around, but really your entire body is bringing it "around town" ;)
