"What is the What" by Dave Eggers
Beautifully written fictionalized biography of one of the Lost Boys of Sudan's civil war. Written by renouned American author. Heart wrenching, tender, harsh, horrific, humourous, insightful, informative.
And... 100% of the proceeds from book sales go to charities in support of these Sudanese refugees.

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
Maria by Jorge Isaacs
The House of the Scorpion...I think that the author is called Nancy Farmer.
And I saw someone mention Al Capone Does my Shirts...I read that book like one month ago, it was really good too...

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Operation Barracuda. I had to order it from overseas because it wasn't available in Australia. Great book, certainly worth the wait.

both wonderful books they were attention grabbing , really interesting, they are probably one my favorite books
