Objectivism isn't perfect, but it's the closest to perfect that I've ever seen. But, the serious adherents that I've chatted with and met are always very arrogant. Does this philosophy foster arrogance?

I am a bassist who loves to play bass, but I would love to play a little bit of guitar on the side. I can't stand the thinness of a normal guitar's strings; would a baritone make more sense? Also, does anyone make a cheap baritone?

acting!
maybe I would like to write? But,
I would like secruity in terms of jobs and "chedda".

what career path could I take?

Im interested in the arts but still feel its important to get a good career. I feel like Im competeing with family and friends who have done well in life, I dont really want to be the one actor whose starving and poor amongst relatives who went to college on scholarships and earn 3.8 GPA's. Thats all my mom ever tells me, and I get no support. I dont want to pursue something I get no support for. I dont need that extra pressure.

But if I turn my back on arts, I feel like Im missing out on something that could have been huge for me.
I dont know how to snap out of it. I feel embarassed to say I like acting but yet still think about it. I wonder if Im starrstruck and if I am actually serious. I've never acted before, and havent played an instrument in years!

HOW DO I GET OUT OF THIS MESS!?

I'm looking for a theory with supporting evidence. You can make up a theory, as long as you find evidence to support it.

For example, if you think oranges will be the downfall of humankind, then support that by saying--penicillin was derived from rotten oranges, and since people build up immunities to penicillin, then we will all eventually die from incurable diseases.

So there is no fight for POWER-there is global harmony and scientists need not work toward making bombs- instead make life easier for all through inventions -or I think we were better off during the harappa mohenjodaro era at men did not fight like today and we never tried destoying others and self.
I wish we diverted our minds toward global understanding,brotherhood,then we would not have to ponder on questions about terrorism!
