That is not right.A Buddha is an enlightened person who has gotten rid of greed,hatred and delusion.

To my knowledge, the Buddha died after he was invited by some people for dinner. they were having pork. He did not want to offend them, so he did accept their offer. He was in his 80's and his stomach health wasn't that great. He died soon after that meal.

I don't see anything greedy about that.
