arrr, don't you people ever put things together for yourselves?

GOD is the infinity, the everything from which we all have progressed, and eventually will become one with again... If you were going to call god a "being" i think it would be more effective as "all beings"-everything
CHRIST was not "God" in any way, but the Bible seemed to make this too confusing for us to understand. Jesus was a wise man, far beyond all our wisdom that we have today, and people misinterpreted him as the physical "son of God" when his purpose here was to teach people like you and me that there is no "god on earth"- you are your own. Just as he said- "I am the way the truth and the life" is more an affirmation and not to be taken literally as far too many Christians have.

There is just one omnipotent being called GOD. Religions are man-made and each religion has given a different name and form for what they believe is this God. Christ, God the father and the Holy Spirit are the figureheads of the Christian religions.

God and Christ are one. Christ was a part of the Creator just as we all are. He was the first born of God's children and had to progress to be such. All of us have the same ability. It is the progression to that ultimate reality which we strive for. Christ was our example.

The name of Christ is derived from the Greek name "Christos" , which means the annointed one. Christos is etymologically derived from the most ancient language Sanskrit. The most perfect name for God in Sanskrit is "Krsta" or Krishna", which means the "All Atractive". Lord Sri Krishna, or God, is the source of every living entity, including Lord jesus Christ. Jesus is the son, and his father is Lord Krishna. Christ and Krishna are one in that the good son always wants to carry out the wishes of his father. Lord Krishna has asked everyoen to surrender unto Him, and Christ taught the same thting in the First Commandmant, "to love thy Lord, with all thy heart, soul, etc..." Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita that He is the source of all material and spiriutal worlds. Christ does not make this claim. Only bhogi yogis preach this ludicrous idea that they are God. Christ is the perfect son of God. He is one with God in quality, but different in quantity. Christ was the most progressed because of his total surrender to Krishna, but the son can never become more than the father.

When Christ was baptized (Matt 3:17) wasn't there a voice from heaven. (I'll leave the Holy Ghost as a third distinct personage descending "like a dove" without a body, out of the current discussion)

Indicates two distinct personages. The "oneness" mentioned is explained by one in purpose.

If Christ has a body (think resurrection) wouldn't it make sense that His father (of both his spirit and mortal body) also have a body.

More to think about...

Is it possible to ask him? Recieve an answer to a prayer? Personal revelation?

If our Father in Heaven is the father of our spirits do we have the same potential to become like him?

God rarely performs miracles. Most the time He sends His messages via a media. Jesus, Ram, Krishna, Mohammed were his well known medias. Any unknown person that helps you out when you are stuck is a media sent by God. So when you say Jesus progressed, it's God who has actually progressed.

But sad to say, we are now regressing the messages. All we understand is that we must worship Jesus, Ram, Krshna, Allah etc. We don't wanna follow his humnaitarian messages but instead intrpret them as religious messages and create a rift among the human beings.

:-)

I believe that God and Christ are one spirit along with the Holy Ghost! They are three parts working together for one purpose, that people will become saved. God created and forgives, Jesus allows us to go to God by being the bridge between us and God, and the Holy Ghost is who draws us to salvation!

"God dwells within you as you". Nothing exists but God, all else is a means of communicating that Idea. "The Christ" is a level of awareness that one passes through to enter into union with God. Jesus is one who passed through into union with God. There are many Christed Saints on earth Now.

Jesus Christ was a man, a real 100% normal human.
But only he understood what GOD is and explained to us. That's why he was a great man and we follow his teachings.

By faith I am a Human. I learn from all religions. I look at all religion equally. I go to temple, mosque and Church for praying. I believe Jesus, Gautam Buddha, Nanak all were Human but of different IQ by what they could understood GOD. We do not have the capability to understand and so we follow them.
