I am trying to learn my camera. I have a Canon EOS Rebel X (film camera). When I take a reading, and my camera gives me (what it thinks) is the correct shutter speed/aperture, but lets say, the reading is not accurate for low light situation. If I want to take a shot of what the camera says is accurate, and also want to take the same photo but over expose it by a stop and under expose it by a stop to see the different results...how would I do this? If the camera says the correct exposure is 1/30 f 5.6...would I change it to 1/60 f 5.6 or change the fstop? How would you change the settings to get 3 different looking photo's of the same subject?

The town council of Hérouxville, a sleepy community dominated by a towering Roman Catholic Church, has adopted a declaration of "norms" that it says would-be immigrants should be aware of before they settle here.
Among them, it is forbidden to stone women or burn them with acid. Children cannot carry weapons to school. That includes ceremonial religious daggers such as kirpans even though the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that Sikhs can carry kirpans in schools. However, children can swim in a pool with boys and girls alike, because they can't be segregated.
And for the record, female police officers in Hérouxville, 165 kilometres northwest of Montreal, can arrest male suspects. Also part of the declaration is to allow women to drive, dance and make decisions on their own.
"We're telling people who we are," said André Drouin, one of six town councillors and the driving force behind the declaration passed earlier this month.

The Roosevelt Medal was issued by President Theodore Roosevelt to Panama canal workers who completed 2 or more years of satisfactory service on the project.

The medals were minted from copper and bronze salvaged from excavation equipment abandon by the French who sold the project to the Americans in 1903, due to bankrupcy.

Each medal supposedly had the name of the recipient inscribed on it. There were thousands issued. There must be a written record of names for the recipients in existence somewhere.

I broke up with her today. Now everything I see reminds me of her. It's driving me mad. She was always so nice to me but that 'spark' wasn't there for me anymore you know. I feel so bad.
