This question is bugging me.

St. Cecelia is the patron saint of music and a martyr who was blind, and this painting is of three angelic faces or cherubs in upper right corner of the painting dropping roses down to a lady with a halo above her head and sitting at a type of piano or organ. I read somewhere that the cherubs were dropping flowers down to the keyboard to prevent her from getting her fingers injured as the keyboard covering was starting to close. St. Cecelia was martyred for teaching Christian music to children. It is said that she continued to sing while being tortured to death. I would appreciate any information about the artist and the origins of this painting.

"Eragon" is a fantasy novel that was published by a 19-year-old writer and his family, who owns a publishing company. The book is generally considered to be deriviative to the point of plagiarism, and extremely poorly written. However, many younger readers just delving into the world of fantasy literature seem to enjoy it.

So, to satisfy my own curiosity, have you read Eragon? Did you enjoy it? Why, or why not?

Computers are complex things, but they are made by humans. So are aeroplane, cars etc. The human beings and universe are even more complex. The design of human anatomy and the way it works is a miracle. The way our planet is maintained in it's orbit and not sucked into a black hole is amazing. So there must be someone who designed and created first. Think about it.............

My wife has lost all interest in sex, so I went out and found a mistress.
The mistress is fine, we see each other twice a week in a discreet location. My wife is fine too, because she doesn't know.
Everything seems cool.
Am I doing anything wrong?

I know they contradict and one might say even negate each other. And I do believe that we are the captains of our ships. But what about the waters the ship is sailing through? What about the weather? We have no control over it. Will the current take us to what was destined anyway? Where does the will enter?

Somebody told me that most publishers/agents refuse to read anything from a new author (apparently new authors don't sell; the public likes an established name), therefore the market is flooded with the same old authors, year in, year out.
Is this true?
