St. Cecelia is the patron saint of music and a martyr who was blind, and this painting is of three angelic faces or cherubs in upper right corner of the painting dropping roses down to a lady with a halo above her head and sitting at a type of piano or organ. I read somewhere that the cherubs were dropping flowers down to the keyboard to prevent her from getting her fingers injured as the keyboard covering was starting to close. St. Cecelia was martyred for teaching Christian music to children. It is said that she continued to sing while being tortured to death. I would appreciate any information about the artist and the origins of this painting.

Hey Nature Scent,

Artnet.com has Gustav Naujok, and a few other Naujok entries. They are a 'join' site, and I am not a member. They track sales.

Gustav Naujok
FISCHER WITH YOUR BOATS BEFORE THE EASTPRUSSIAN KUSTE, 1911
Sold: Mar 26, 1992
Lot detail <--- on the site this is a hyperlink

Also, Gustav Naujok is mentioned in the German Wikipedia, with a translation you can read it (automatic translation provide below). The link to Gustav basically says that Wikipedia needs information on him too.

So, if this is him, you will most likely have to find your information from a fine art dealer or a library. You can also try the Art Dealers sites, or galleries.
