I've just finished reading 'Perks of being a wallflower' by Stephen Chbosky and really enjoyed it. Wondered if anyone could reccommend a good book. Have you read anything recently?

It was a girls annual that my sister had somewhere between 1970 and 1984. May not be Mandy but they all have white on them.

Was "Longbourne" a manor? It looked pretty big . . . or do you simply call it a "house"?

My family name is Bankz and I have been looking for my family heritage. I can find no information in my country (Canada) about it. I believe my family came from Eastern Germany. If anyone could provide me with any information I would be eternally grateful!

THANK YOU!

We started writing screenplays and short stories as a hobby and now we just thought we'll take it one step further and produce our own feature (short film at first). I'll appreciate any insights, especially on the best way to raise funding; Is it possible/wise to be completely independent or is it best we work with sponsors/studios? Much obliged, you'll help in making some ambitious (slightly naive) dreams come true!!

I would really like to pursue acting, and I don't know how it works. I'm a really good actor. Unfortunately, I don't have "qualified experience" like drama and acting classes. I do know I CAN act throughout my life experiences. I also have lots of different talents. But I don't know a few things.

1. What do they look for?
2. How do I go about getting an agent?
3. Am I even looking in the right direction?

Can somebody please tell me how the industry works? Like...what to do and other things.

Thank you!
