Yes, I had the pleasure of meeting my first love at the age of 11. We both had a crush on each other and it was love at first sight for me. We grew up together as friends and went seperate ways in our young adult lives and met up again when we were much more mature and we have been together for a while now (married with kids) and it is wonderful...8 years and counting.

Where most people make the mistake is substituting the LUST they feel for a true emotional passion (LOVE), in fact we are born to love all but once we find the true LOVE we should know the difference. Ask yourself questions like - What exactly is it that has me drawn to this person? - What would make me totally walk away from this person? - What would it take to be lured away from this person?

If you are in LOVE congratulations if not Good Luck with the right person!

When I was at university, one of the dons told me, the first time he saw me, he knew it was love.

Fortunately, someone visiting the uni knew him, and told me he was married.
I think first sight love, is often lust (not always), but it's an overpowering emotion. It can make men and women predatory.

Give me slow growing love any time.

But hey! Law of averages, of course first sight love can happen.

Just get the blood test done for lust.;-)

Well, I come from the country of "William Shakespeare", read some of his work...

Yes - On a daily basis, I fall in love with a few women I see.

However, that doesn't mean its always good idea to follow through on it because I quickly fall out of love with the same women, usually as soon as I see the next one.

I believe more in non-love at second glance. I think often times people feel that rush of adrenaline and pheromones that have them feeling that HE/SHE's the ONE! But at second or third glance, sometime down the road, they realize they jumped into something without really using all of their senses including intuition. But if they use all of their sense then I do believe in love at first sight, taste, touch, smell, hearing and with my intuition.

First I do not believe in believing... 'experiencing' is the only way to live.
Since Real Love is not dependent on an object. Love can be generated/expressed from within at anytime.

'Love at first sight ' is a theme found in Shakespeare's plays-
in real life it is more of a physical attraction at first sight. Books are idealistic to a certain extent . this physical attraction is something to start with and may be it can blossom into true love later which is likely to come only after a considerable tenure of companionship.

As a young man I fell in love at least 3 times a day, as I've matured into an old man I understand that true love takes time and effort from all parties involved. That's my story and I'm sticking to it..
