This constant search for peace and rest.
Vain world, can you appease this quest?
Do your vast mega stores supply this rest?
Glamour, riches, pride and fame!

inprisonment, came to live in Britain and did so till his death a

We were discussing Mark's comment of the Transfiguration that Jesus' clothes were "whiter than any launderer could have made them". We were wanting to know just how white could clothes get during that time. Some were under the impression that laundry was quite primitive at this time, but I'm not so sure.

I brought this book around 15 years ago at a second-hand bookstore and can't find a publishing date in the book. The cover is white with a black and white drawing depicting a scene from Little Red Riding Hood, at the bottom of the cover it reads "With 211 Drawings, Etchings & Woodcuts by great European Illustrators". The book was published by Omega Books Ltd and was printed by Brepols, Turnhout, Belgium. ISBN 0-907853-27-7. A friend suggested that my book may be worth something and aroused my curiosity. Any help would be appreciated.
