A book that gave you that feeling of Purpose ?

The Year Of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion.
I don't know that this book gave me a sense of purpose but it did validate some feelings. I realized that I was not alone in the confusion and grief I was experiencing. Anyone that suffers the sudden death of a loved one needs to read this book at some point.
