I brought this book around 15 years ago at a second-hand bookstore and can't find a publishing date in the book. The cover is white with a black and white drawing depicting a scene from Little Red Riding Hood, at the bottom of the cover it reads "With 211 Drawings, Etchings & Woodcuts by great European Illustrators". The book was published by Omega Books Ltd and was printed by Brepols, Turnhout, Belgium. ISBN 0-907853-27-7. A friend suggested that my book may be worth something and aroused my curiosity. Any help would be appreciated.

I googled "old book value", found the reference above.

The article mentions two books which give direct price values for old books. Your book's inside cover will have important information that will help to determine the book's worth.

Yep, in certainty i think of it replaced into the Brothers Grimm who collaborated in a sequence of marvellous fairy thoughts that have continued over the years, and that i'm hoping will final consistently LOL. Grimm did no longer write all the fairy thoughts available, yet a great form of them, and that's the reason those are talked approximately as Grimm's Fairy thoughts. Get a e book of them and luxuriate in. you're not at all too old.

I also have a very old Grimms Fairy Tale book. I went on-line to research it & because mine does not have an ISBN # or a year of publication had to just scan the sites for the illustrator, publishing company etc.
Good luck...

The book Grimms Fairy Tales, depending on the publishers date may be worth something to someone like me who really would like to see it. i have been online at e-bay, the same book , by american publishers is not going to get you any money, too many around, i have not found any with that isbn. or from brepols , turnhout , and belgium. i cannot even find that publishing company, hang on to that book and your best bet would be to find a reputable antique book dealer. if the binding and pages are intact. i am envious of you, you could always put it on e-bay and see what will happen. catdick@verizon.net, good luck

Find out what printing number it is and the copyright date, then probably check eBay for similar items, under "completed listings" in advanced search ("show completed listings only")
