I like books like the Anne Rice trilogy on the Mayfair witches, (not the vampire stories) or the Hannibal stories by Thomas Harris ( the new one is out Hannibal rising, which I have reserved at the library) The past few books I have read have been predictable and were lacking . I need something that draws you in , keeps you spellbound and can't put down. Preferably a series/trilogy/saga. Any suggestions?

I am writing a story on line called Alondra Melody Anderson-Knowles: the second comming , some of you may know it but for thse who dont ; it's about a girl who is sixteen and has a baby named Alondra Melody and a boyfriend named Curtis.

So far, they are having a good realtionship and are close and Alondra is the one bringing them together even though they are already really close.

They go on vacation in Hawaii and are intimate there one time , the next day her legs are hurting like crazy , but she is managing.

They go swimming in the ocean and Curtis' sister Curstianna (a name I really like) is swimming and she gets bitten by a shark, and she loses so much blood and engery and hits her head on the way. Curtis alerts a lifeguard and she is taken to a hospital.

She has to get the leg amupated cause their is nothing she can do with it, if she keeps it. When she finally is concious again, she cant remeber a thing and they are told to enjoy the rest of the day. What should I add?

Things I liked in the past were Malcolm Gladwell's "Tipping Point", Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential", and William Mcdonough & Michael Braungart's "Cradle to Cradle".

from a private collection, may i share with you the reader.
The littlest rose grow's up
To touch your nose.
what a special touch for little rose.
The one day it was given sight,
to look into the heavens.
It saw, the nose.
The nose must be heaven to the rose.
The birds and bee"s do not smell of the fragrance,
given the rose.
No, It was made special for the nose.A.M.H.

Why do you think humans just sit back and allow everything that slowly destroys us to happen? We are allowing the world to become over populated and the consiquences of that will soon show. We pollute so much and detory our ozone which is there to protect us. We still fill the skys with CO2 causing a more rapid global warming. Why don't we do anything to save ourselves? I do all I can but one person out of 4 billion is nothing.

It must be universal because there's been more than 1 D-Day.
There's the landing at Normandy but there's also the landing at Iwo Jima. So the "D" must represent a universal term.
