I think he is going to make it, but I am expecting/hoping for quite a showdown. I think/ hope the final battle will be at Hogwarts.. The final charm is probably there, and I think Dumbledore will have something to do with the final outcome. I can't see the old wizard giving up just because he is "dead".... lol.
I think as this is the final book, he will sort of "graduate" and then have to decide what to do with the rest of his life now that he won't have Voldemort and clan after him at every turn (maybe).
I hope to goodness she does not kill off Harry. And IF she does, I hope she has a secure, isolated place to live for a good long while as every child (and a few adults) in several countries will want to kick her in the shin a time or two for doing so for quite a while...

Potter will probably defeat Voldemort, Ginny will forgive him, Ron will meet his ultimate demise being Harry's sidekick, Hermione will tearfully accept his death and not get mad at Harry, then there will be closure with the Dursely family, and everything will end nicely.
For those of you who don't know; this series will end in this book. It's not a rumor, from day 1 Rowling has been saying there will be seven books for the seven years. So those of you who think you're all smart and cool by predicting the end of the series; you aren't.

this being the last book it is hard to say, i didn't believe rowlins would kill of dumbldor so soon. to answer your question, i would hope the book would have harry and his side kicks looking for all of voldemorts souls ,that he has hidden , so that he may live forever.as they search for these pieces throughout there school year,harry will fall hopelessly in love with ginny , ron and hermione will fall in love and voldemort will use this against them.the first order of buisness is to find and kill snape as revenge for the death of dumbledor.i believe draco will come over to harrys side to find a safe haven and will jion the order of the pheonix.and together they find snape and trick him into azcaban,by not killing him , jailing him would be worse then death.in their travels and adventures to retrive the soul pieces i think one of his close friends will die or be cursed in to catatonia. neville will avenge his parents,and become an auror in his own right.he will also fall in love with luna. at the end of the book i believe harry will come to the aide of his family , the dursleys. i think ron will be the one who dies in the end protecting the woman he loves or harry will die in the end protecting his love and family and in doing so reduces voldemort.to vapor just as his mother did when he was a baby.at the end someone will die for love. it is the only power they really have over voldemort. both harry and voldemort must die to garantee the end of the book. if not they could go on forever. wow thats going to be pretty sad. but thats just my opinon!

According to the author, we will see no more of Harry Potter. I guess she is rich enough. However, my idea is that that the series ends with his becoming an adult and losing his powers.

Both harry and volmort will die in the end as j.k.rowling has said that in the last chapter tow person is going to die.I got this information from her personnel website.

I've heard rumors (or if you're harry--"rumours") that JK is sick of writing the books and so she's going to kill off the characters so that no-one else can continue. The title fits this rumor-"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". Sort of an ominous title, don'cha think?

u cant definrtly say how rowling's mind work.she started killing people from the fourth book.so since it is the last book probably she'll kill lot's of people.i hope it not the kind of book that tells that"THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER"cant wait for the last book.hope that harry doesnt die.

hes defently going to live, she wont write about him for 7 books and talk about how good will always triumph over evil then kill the hero of the light!
besides killing the hero doesnt always work, look what happened with sherlock holems

I don't think he will die in this story but he'll just graduate after some 'magical thing' happens like in any other book. It starts in the Dursey's house till the last day of Hogwarts. I dunno. I want to read it soon though
