Even people who are indifferent to death when young get fearful when thinking of death at an old age? Why is that and should we really fear it as a terrible event? Haven't we just be taught wrongly to fear this inescapable ending?

The other day, my friend, who is in his 3rd year of law school informed me that on the tv show "Rome", they had killed the main character, Julius Caesar. He also said, in a very suprised voice, that Caesar's friend Brutus had assisted in the murder. Then he told me that he saw the movie "Borat" about a guy from Khazakstan, which was "actually a real place". Am I an intellectual snob for expecting people to know who Julius Caesar was and that Khazakstan is a real place?

I've been doing family search for the past 3years and Ancestry gave 3 days free due to a special they were doing. Many other site say they are "free", but when you get in that site and start to search they cut you off and ask for money. It should be either free as they offer or just state that you have to pay instead of tricking people. Family search is serious not a joke. Especially when you never met your grandparents and this is the only way to meet them and with the investigation you can see where they came from, how they arrived to America and how they got started here. I found out it all the hard way, but it was a wonderful trip and experience. I found out a lot of surprises in my ancetors. So let's see if these genealogy sites can do better. For most of the time I thank Ancestry.com they are great.

I am very interested in taking classes to learn how to throw. I took a beginner ceramics class in college and we didn't get to do much on the wheel. I would really like to learn, but I dont know where to go. I've looked at a few colleges in the area, but most of the classes are during the day and I work 8-5. Any ideas?

Required, somewhat advanced skills in astral projection, various areas of metaphysics, and or witchcraft/sorcery. Your will-power to do this must be strong, also, the process involves switching-lifelines. I've been praying to cross paths with someone who's not all talk, or merely has a hollow curiousity. I've had dreams that I met my "twin-flame" by posting this. Although, I could care less about meeting my twin-flame, as long as I meet someone who's worth their salt. About me? My vehicle is age 26, very healthy, and handsome too. I'm looking for the experience, and thrill, so I don't care who I switch with, as long as the person isn't all talk. No one under 21, or over 47. I'm willing to make the exchange more fair for the other person, rather than myself, simply to increase the chances for success. If you're interested, feel free to SAY something in response. Try me.

I have what I think is a good idea for a story - however - I don't know if has already been done, and I'm not sure if I'm up to the challenge! I don't think I have a wide range of vocabulary and I don't think all my other grammar is good! What should I do? I want to try, but I don't want to be disappointed

There’s a very wealthy man with two sons. The man is wise and just. He also has a lot of ideals and expectations for the boys. If the boys live up to they’re dads hopes they will inherit a large fortune.
One son does not truly understand these ideals nor does he really want to live his life that way. But because he desires the inheritance, he lives his life exactly how his dad wants.
The second son understands the reasons why his dad expects such things. And he lives his life pretty close to those ideals. He lives this way because he believes it to be right, with complete disregard for the inheritance.
If you have to pick one, which ones the better son?

hello, im in drama for school and i need to find alliteration (words that start with the same sound) rhymes to practice my speech. I would like to have some like the following:
To sit in solemn silence in a dull, dark dock,
In a pestilential prison, with a life-long lock,
Awaiting the sensation of a short, sharp shock,
From a cheap and chippy chopper on a big black block!

And there's another one but i forgot most of it:
You know you need unique new york.

The song (Bobbie Gentry sang it) is playing on the radio right now. It was also a movie starring Robbie Benson. The song actually came first! Very rare!

The book came later, around the mid-70s and I read it when I was about 13. It was my first "exposure" to the concept of homosexuality and while my Mom was horrified that I was reading it, she let me and I remember loving the book.

Does anyone else remember it?
