hello, im in drama for school and i need to find alliteration (words that start with the same sound) rhymes to practice my speech. I would like to have some like the following:
To sit in solemn silence in a dull, dark dock,
In a pestilential prison, with a life-long lock,
Awaiting the sensation of a short, sharp shock,
From a cheap and chippy chopper on a big black block!

And there's another one but i forgot most of it:
You know you need unique new york.

I spy a button, a barrel, a bell,
A little pink pail, and the poor knight who fell;

A towel, a trowel, a taxi, a dog,
A bottle-cap knight, a key, and a frog.

What a to-do to die today at a minute or two 'til two
A thing distinctly hard to say but harder still to do
For the dragon will come with the beat of the drug
At a rat a-tat-tat a-tat-tat a-tat-tum
At a minute or two 'til two today
At a minute or two 'til two

I am a pheasant plucker
I pluck mother pheasants
I am the most pleasant mother pheasant plucker
That ever plucked mother pheasants

You know what? I'm 54 years old... people tell me that I'm a great actor... they love to work with me... and still, I don't have a clue as to what alliteration is.

Seriously... what is that word all about? Why would my life be any different if I knew what the hell they were talking about.

Just gimmie the damned script, and let me get to work.

What a to do to die today
at a quarter of two til two.
A thing distinctly hard to say,
but harder still to do.
For there will be a a todo
at a quarter til two with a
rat tat a tat tat a tat tat a two,
For the dragon will come
at the beat of his drum.
at a quarter of two til two today
at a quarter of two til two.

One bed bug
bled blue black blood.
While the other bed bug bled blue... and again go (faster each time)

For alliteration and diction my favorite was:
Buh buh bee bee bee
Buh buh bay bay bay
Buh buh bah bah bah.

Duh duh dee dee dee
Duh duh day day day
Duh duh dah dah dah.

Guh guh gee gee gee (g sounds like it does in the word gay)
Guh guh gay gay gay
Guh guh gah gah gah.
