I'm writing an essay on photography, but I really don't know photography much. So can anybody name some modern recent photographers, and also some of the most well known? I'd appreciate it a lot, I know about the process of photography and the history but I really don't know much about photographers.

I'm looking for a good book to read.
Something similar to "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini, if you've read it.
Or anything interesting thats about people or places or events?
-Thanks!

One night
when the world was very young,
a moonbeam was dancing
on a quiet mountain lake.
Seeing it, a woodland fairy ran to the shore,
scooped it up in his hands,
and brought it to his home next to the meadow.
In the morning when he woke up,
he rubbed his eyes in amazement!
Where he had laid his shining treasure
were three golden buttercups!

Love at the lips was touch
As sweet as I could bear;
And once that seemed too much;
I lived on air

That crossed me from sweet things,
The flow of- was it musk
From hidden grapevine springs
Down hill at dusk?

I had the swirl and ache
From sprays of honeysuckle
That when they're gathered shake
Dew on the knuckle.

I craved strong sweets, but those
Seemed strong when I was young;
The petal of the rose
It was that stung.

Now no joy but lacks salt
That is not dashed with pain
And weariness and fault;
I crave the stain

Of tears, the aftermark
Of almost too much love,
The sweet of bitter bark
And burning clove.

When stiff and sore and scarred
I take away my hand
From leaning on it hard
In grass and sand,

The hurt is not enough:
I long for weight and strength
To feel the earth as rough
To all my length.

i got tingles when dumbledore died, i love J.K. Rowlings use of description, and how occasionally she kills someone to add to the climax of the series. i am so sad that her next book is the last.
