I don't understand emo's I am a goth and i know that emo's claim to have goth traits but...... well they are always talking about suicide and almost NONE of then actaully commit suicide! Emo's are poser versions of goth.

i believe that if they are talking about that they are not emo ... emio peeps dont talk about stuff like that they are trying to look cool 2 u .. its not working im guessing... they are just trying to be liek u ... so some are posing but the true emo ppl are great

Emos are people. Goths are people. Does it matter what subcultures they identify with, what they dress like, what music they prefer? Not one or two or even twenty 'emos' can speak for the group as a whole. And besides, you're in Junior High, yes? Teenagers try on different things all the time and change like the wind. Try not to take it too seriously.
