I asked this question in the physics section and one answerer suggested posting it in the philosophy section...According to the quantum theory, when we don't look at the moon all that exists is a probability density. When we make an observation of the moon's position we force the universe to take a stand and the moon pops into existance at a certain place. So is it really there when we don't observe it? Einstein once asked a quantum physicist if they really believed that the moon wasn't there when nobody was looking. What do you think? Notice that this is just a modern day physics version of the "If a tree falls in the woods and nobody's around to hear it does it make a sound?" question. This question is closely related to an old philosophical question that asks whether or not our mind's perception of the universe is accurate. When we percieve a tree do we actually observe the tree as it really is? or is what we call a tree just our mind's take on a tree based on sensory information?

We all have personalities, certain ways of thinking and actings. We all have value systems we try to live by and ideals about the world and so forth. Do you think yours are good for other people to have as well, or do they just work for you. Personally, I just try to do what works for me. I'm not a usual guy, so I don't think I can generalize.

Until World War I soldiers were considered as knights, brave and heroic men who fight and it was a glory to defeat the opponent. Why did the people change their views? They were affected before the world war too, and the war itself also wasn't a man-to-man fight from the 18th century . Any ideas or theories?

I've performed it maybe 5 times all the way through without a mistake (including all of the effects which one guitar can produce in a performance setting) in 25 years of playing. I really think it compares to a classical piece in dificulty.

You can say what you like about it and I'll pick the answer which makes the most sense to me.

Well, I can breathe, yes, but the air in my nose stops, and if I try to breathe in, my singing sounds horrible! It also makes me uncomfertable. My breathing has always been right, I was taught what I thought was the right way. Is this normal? I want to continue singing, since it has been a passion of mine for along time, but I want to do it right.

why is it that a small percentage of the answers given to peoples ?'s are really derogitory? it seems there are always a few people that are wanting to vent thier anamosity on to others. some of the ?'s are lagitimate and deserve an honest answer. then are these few that feel like they have to belittle because they have an answer that is worthy of stating. funny how people love to spread thier negative, angery thoughts onto others....
