For about 6 years (approximately 1907-13) he painted and made and sold postcards in Vienna, but this wasn't much of a job. Then, he was a soldier for the German military in WW1 where he was more or less a runner boy who would deliver messages. He actually won an Iron Cross for this. Then, he was one of the original members of the NDSAP (or something with those letters) which later was shortened to Nazi Party. Then, he was in jail for about a year for trying to overthrow the government at the Munich Beer Hall Pustch (failed miserably) and he was an author. During his jailtime, he wrote Mein Kampf. When he was realeased, he worked full time making speeches, rallies, etc. as the leader of the Nazi party (who still was not in power). In 1933 he became Chancellor of Germany, then merged the role of President and Chancellor into one job, assumed the role of Dictator and held this position until he killed himself in the spring of 1945. In short, he never really held much of a typical job for a long period time (as long as you don't consider dictator a typical job.)

He wanted to be a painter and really lived off of his parents and then his father's pension and his mother's income- as a struggling artist and later in life spoke about how he was a misunderstood artist. So that was his first "jonb" if you could even call it that. He never tried to find another job after the failure of this one and never learned another profession.
See this for more details~
Hitler was able to live the life of a Bohemian on a fatherless child's pension and support from his mother. He was rejected twice by the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (due to "unfitness for painting", and was told his abilities lay rather in the field of architecture.
Following the school rector's recommendation, he too became convinced this was the path to pursue, yet he lacked the proper academic preparation for architecture school:
He worked as a struggling painter in Vienna, copying scenes from postcards and selling his paintings to merchants and tourists. After the second refusal from the Academy of Arts, Hitler gradually ran out of money. By 1909, he sought refuge in a homeless shelter, and by the beginning of 1910 had settled permanently into a house for poor working men.
It was in Vienna that Hitler first became an active anti-Semite.

Hitlers first job was as a painter in Austria and Germany. His job entailed painting pictures from postcards and selling them to vendors and tourists. There is documented evidence that he painted over 2000 pictures before WWI broke out
