They do what they see. If they ever were to leave their negative environment and be surrounded with joy and happiness and positivity, their views would change. Unfortunately that does not happen in this society. It's all hustle, bustle, rush, and hurry. No time for courtesy, simply serve me now, no time to talk, No time to be polite. Like the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. It's all imagined, just like Alice in Wonderland. They fear consequences if they don't do what they're rushing to do. It's their niche in society to feel important., when truly it's your mentality that creates your importance. Humans are very political creatures, as are most others. For example. Do you ever wonder why celebrities wear sunglasses? Why would they do that? To look cool, right? What's so cool about hiding your eyes? Truly, this is a statement of politics. They're saying I'm so well known and popular that I need to disguise myself not to be seen, I need to hide my eyes so people cannot make eye contact with me, and perhaps deter some of these fans that are constantly bombarding me. Sunglasses being worn to break eyecontact is a form of hierachy. Just as talking on a cell phone, listening to an Mp3 player, or Wearing a business suit and tie, will make you seem more in your own world and less worried about other's concerns. When you portray those symbols of an "Above Society" mentality, that what you're doing is more important than what everyone else is, it makes one feel very important and accomplished, when truly they're not doing much at all. The people they're working for, the billionaires, they're the ones doing the important jobs. The others are simply subordinates. They can lose their jobs in a second. True bosses go entrepreneur and make their own way in the world. They make their own hours, their own rules, they do what they want to do in life, and they don't form their lives around others schedules, means, plans, or the like. That society hierachy, overall, determines a humans quality of life. Obviously the people that have negative things to say about these questions are frustrated for one, and have seen others act in that way to vent their anger secondly. Combine those two things and you create a behaviour in a human, which just happens not to make them the most pleasant person around. Everyone has their own karma, their own path to take in this life, some go to lower paths, some go to higher one's but either way, it's going to go on. One must accept what they cannot change, and if you can change it, go about it with patience and care. That'll change around a few energies from negative to positive. And make the world, a little bit more pleasant to be in.

I think that some ppl use this site as a decharge point. And mostly ppl do not try to be empathic or helpful at all. Especially questions under Religion and Spirituality really cause to increase the conflicts between religions bcs everyone is insulting each others religion in a racist and fashist way. i cannot understand how ppl can be so close-minded & prejudiced and cannot see the danger of pumping hate, in a world that is going towards world war 3. and i think that the negativ responses seen here on yahoo answers is the reflection of the citizens of the world. i mean, there are ppl here from all over the world and the majority has the same attitude? we should celebrate this, you know, bcs this shows how similar we have become. but unfortunately, our similarity seems to be our negativity and prejudiced attitude.

because the anonymity on the net enable everyone to be their real self, no pretending and revealing the true nature of humankind, the net is a very interesting place to see and reflect our human nature, what would people do when you don't have to take notion of norms or self conception. It's also the reason why porn is the biggest content on the net. It is just people being human, i see it as a healthy valve actually, when the aggression energy is channeled on the web hopefully would reduce the aggression tendency in the real world

Mariah- The singer. I don't have much bad to say about it... Bentley- WAY too faddish. It's a car name, and I knew a dog with this name. It also sounds little kiddish to me, like a lot of names ending in -ley for boys. I don't think he'd get picked on too much, as it's extremely popular right now... which also means it's not terribly unique. Have you thought of Benton? It's a bit more grown up, and less faddish (imho)...

Good point. I see little point in criticising others since everyones opinion matters. We should be encouraging people to participate since we can learn so much from each other. I detest arrogance and ignorance in all people and its not something that should be promoted. Hence no one should have the right to decide who's question is valid or not since this is plain censorship and a subjective point of view.

but there really isn't much we can do about that...yes, i will admit, i have given negative answers. but only to those questions which i believe are asking for it, i.e. questions regarding the stupidity of one ethnic group, the arrogance of a certain type of people, anything that has to do with beating, harrassing and molesting children, women, animals, and yes, men as well...
i don't find my answers worthy of praise. i put it out there so that one may have more ideas to bounce off of...

well part of the reason is because people post questions that aren't really questions, but are in fact statements. yours being a case in point.
the main reason, however, is that yahoo answers rewards answers no matter how idiotic they are. since it takes little intellectual energy to post an insult, that is what many people opt for in their puzzling quest to accumulate points.
A possible solution for this would be to allow voters to penalize people for irrelevant questions and pointless answers.
