If you could give a person a choice between life and death (a loaded gun) most people would not pull the trigger? Why not? It's painless and if you do not believe in the afterlife then it's a means to an end, it solves your problems. It is inevitable anyway why not speed up the process? Only those blessed with a 'bigger heart than their ego' may answer, but of course this is open to the floor, so if one is to pick up scraps off the floor then one will. Lost you at 'if you could' therefore could never have you at 'hello'. Sorry, going to bed now.

There is a theatre about 10 miles away from me. It's not much, and the name of it is "Pulaski Fine Arts Association." Do I have to audition for a role at a local theatre? Or can anyone be in it? Sorry I have so many questions. Thanks.

I'm not really sure if this is the right category, but I'm asking anyway. I've been playing x-men legends 1 and 2 and i thought that I knew a lot about the x-men universe, but when I tried the little mini trivia games, I was really at a loss. Is there a site where i can buy the comics from start to most recent, or have they been reprinted in larger volumes? Also, which ones came first (extreme, ultimate . . .)?

I keep starting novels, but never seem to retain an intrest in that particular idea, moving on to another almost immidiately. I've tried almost everything I can think to do, but am out of ideas.

We often hear people boasting about the faith of our fathers. Change of religion is also often considered betrayal of our ancestors. But don't you think it is contradictory? All of today's religions are hardly 2000-5000 year old whereas religion is at lest 100000 years old though it involved human sacrifice and cannibalism. If all our ancestors had stayed loyal to the faith of their fathers, we too should be practicing cannibalism and worshipping primordial gods and goddesses. The first Christians were the Apostles who turned against the Judaism, the faith of their fathers. Mohammad rebelled against the faith of his ancestors and even desecrated the idols his ancestors worshipped. If it was right for them, why is it wrong for us to choose our own path irrespective of what our parents believed in?

How old is too old to dance on pointe? In my area, there's NO adult point classes. I take dance at my college, but they also don't offer point. I'm 19 and I want to learn SO much. I forget a lot of the technique, but I'm dancing 7 hours a week this year and i SO badly want to go on pointe. Advice?

I like well-written mysteries, fantasy if it's not just plain dumb. (harry potter: the perfect combination of the two) I like the books that you read again and still enjoy. Preferably a series, i'm trying to kill time until HP7 comes out (can't wait!!!!!)

I'm not a die hard fan of rap, but I have a few albums mainly 2pac and DMX, does this talk of 'smoking out our enemies' etc make me less inclined to understand philosophy from it's very roots, Aristotle, Socrates-prostitutes (ok I have to explain this one, Socrates sent some of his students for an audience with a prostitute, for the purposes of intellectual education) etc to its modern adversaries (sp?). Am I stunted in my growth of intellectual pursuits with listening to this ****? Or does it serve as a stepping stone rather than a vice?

On September 11th, when the planes crashed into the towers and when the towers collapsed, were there a lot of human body parts lying around? I am not trying to be morbid or sick, I just honestly was wondering. Or was the collapse so horrible, that it pretty much destroyed anything that came down with it?
