I'm not really sure if this is the right category, but I'm asking anyway. I've been playing x-men legends 1 and 2 and i thought that I knew a lot about the x-men universe, but when I tried the little mini trivia games, I was really at a loss. Is there a site where i can buy the comics from start to most recent, or have they been reprinted in larger volumes? Also, which ones came first (extreme, ultimate . . .)?

Get a hold of as many volumes of ESSENTIAL X-MEN (the 'new X-Men') as well as ESSENTIAL UNCANNY X-MEN (the original X-Men) to 'catch up'.

Each volume is in black & white and contains 20 or so issues.

There's a lot more to X-Men than these, but these reprints are a lot easier to get (and less expensive) than tracking down original back issues.
