If you could give a person a choice between life and death (a loaded gun) most people would not pull the trigger? Why not? It's painless and if you do not believe in the afterlife then it's a means to an end, it solves your problems. It is inevitable anyway why not speed up the process? Only those blessed with a 'bigger heart than their ego' may answer, but of course this is open to the floor, so if one is to pick up scraps off the floor then one will. Lost you at 'if you could' therefore could never have you at 'hello'. Sorry, going to bed now.

Guilt. We don't want our mothers to die, we'd miss them. And we'd know that some one would miss us and we don't want to make them upset so we put down the gun. And besides. I like my life! I like getting an education and being with friends and family. I like the way things are going, I don't have any problems big enough to want to kill myself over. I know death is inevitable and I don't believe in an after life; but I'd rather get the most out of the time I have rather than just be a punk and shoot myself.

If your best answer in any solution is to pick up a weapon then you won't last long reguardless...

Psychologically and biologically there is a natural inclincation to keep yourself from harm. In the same way there is an instinct in guys to **** as many women as possible.

yeah it is inevitable so why don't we see day old babies pulling the breathing tubes from their mouths shouting " I'm gonna die anyway so why bother with having to wait 70 years to do it " ...whats the alternative for a non believer ? ....oblivion ! ...think it can wait a while as I'm enjoying my time out from it for the time being thank you very much !!!

To be human is to live like one. If you can explain your birth you can understand your death. What we cannot define or understand, we cannot choose methods for. Life is eternal; within life there is no concept of terminal death. To live is to be within life always.

To my understanding, we live well so that we also may die well. Dying is important to us but how we die is even more so. When we die we always die for life, we never die for the sack of death. We seek change, at its best and that is all. We live and wait and then when we die we like life to be enhanced even when we are no here. Such is our live for life – essential and innate.

In my case I wouldn't pull the trigger because I enjoy my life. But in your case I would gladly lend you a hand.. Remember killing is killing whether it's done for duty, profit or fun.

Do you mean killing yourself, or killing someone else? If you do it right, then it's one way of killing yourself. If you do it right, it's a painless way of killing someone else. Few people can shoot so accurately to guarantee this. Either way, whether it's yourself or someone else, only God/Allah has the right to decide when someone shuffles off this mortal coil. Killing someone or taking your own life is a sin, or haram.
