I think it is the awareness of each other..the "seeing" each other, and knowing that we are being seen for who we are. That awareness disarms and attracts us. Add the very unusual physical closeness of our faces, which we do not allow in most cases, the pheromones and sudden awareness of body warmth, scent, sounds and sights and you have yourself in a most vulnerable state with all of your senses activated. It's a wonder we can breathe at all! Then, if things are progressing as we would like it to and sexual arousal begins to take place, then trouble getting enough oxygen is pretty normal.

Sometimes it is really nice to be a human being!

When you absolutely love someone, the connection when your lips meet is amazing. IT makes you forget everything and everyone. Believe me you will know it when it happens and you wont beable to move or breathe for a few moments.

I haven't really experienced that. After nearly 20 years of marriage.

But I think for me it's always been more in the eyes. When eyes meet and for that split instant you completely connect.
