I'm going to be performing a monologue approx. 4min, high energy in a very small black box theatre. My question is: any tips on how to stay focused on what your saying without forgetting lines etc. when you have to look the audience members in the eye for the whole piece!? (this is the directors choice). Anyone else tend to freak out when you have to look in their eyes and then realize that all their eyes are on you? This is why I love the blinding lights ... LOL

My girlfriend gave me a book about a month called "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." I read it in about a day, not because I liked it, but because I was trying to see if it would culminate into some kind of twist ending that would make it all worthwhile. But no, all I got out of it was a kid that was ok with doing drugs and drinking, didn't know how to masturbate (not even joking), and the most naive and childish writing that's ever grazed my cornea. The kid even went into some kind of catatonic seizure for no reason at all, or something like that. And in one part of the story, he gives poem to his friend Patrick that's supposed to be a suicide note...and he doesn't even know it's about suicide!!! Please, if there's anyone else out there that agree (or disagrees) with me, please respond. I don't like Stephen Chbosky.

The arts generally describe human emotion or human interaction to cosmic events. I wonder if and how they relate to each other.

Maybe it's cultural, maybe you're culinarily adventurous, maybe you just need the food, whatever. Is it more moral for an animal shelter to destroy and dispose of a dog than to provide it to someone who wanted to eat it? I have little doubt that supply would far outweigh demand, but for those few... What do you think? Why?

What if the nursery dream "row row row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily, life is but a dream" really holds the key to our existance?

Like these, generic 3-d abstract renders.
I'm not too good at making background on photoshop, so I look for ones like these to use to make wallpapers. I've come up short lately (mainly using google and yahoo image), so I'd appreciate it if anyone knew of a site with such wallpapers, or just could link me to one here or there.

Feminists boast that they cannot compete with men because of their physical limitations. Then why is it that they cannot compete with men in games like chess where muscle power is not required? It is because chess is a game invented by man and for men in accordance with his mental specialties. Computers are another field where women can't really compete because computers are designed by men in accordance with their cerebral specialties. The present world is a world developed by man and for men in accordance with their cerebral qualities which are different from women's. Women trying to compete with men in a man's world is like our trying to compete with ducks or fish in swimming. I have no sexual prejudices, But I think women should develop a world of their won in accordance with their specialties instead of trying to compete with man in his world and playing spoilsport.
