The way we were raised, what our parents taught us, and what works best for you as a person. The different life experiences we each have tend to make us lean in one direction or the other as far as beliefs go. Different people with different ideas and beliefs are what make our world such an interesting place. If we all felt exactly the same or believed exactly the same the world would be kind of a boring place and no one would learn anything new.

The cause of people with different beliefs.. I'd say that is because of the way they are brought up and who they associate with will have an affect on what and who and why they believe things. I believe in Karma the chinese
call it Ying and Yang. Whatever you do there's a consequence for your actions and even lack of action. Suppose you saw some one drowning and didn't help that some one and that someone died.. You'd feel quilty wouldn't you? that quilty is a form of bad karma
to erase that quilt you'd have to do some good deeds for that someone's parents! That don't justify your lack of action but it will balance out your karma!

People have different beliefs because everone is different. It takes all sort of people to make this world. If every body think alike the world would be a very dull place and monotonous and we will die of boredom.

there are too may answers to this question. I think it is the way people live life. beliefs came from a way for people to decribe afterlife to help understand death and illness and to give them hope for a better life. beliefs come from the way people live and the way they want to make an afterlife.

Social, cultural and family values lead to the range of what people believe in. Those values are the bedrock on what a specific cultures hold to be truthful and to be retained as a cultural value. It is possible for education to impact on what is retained, but that would seem to vary person by person.

We where all created equal but with one huge difference
"FREE WILL" So that makes us unique individuals, and there is nothing wrong with having different beliefs as long as you accept others so they can accept you.

the actual brainwash of the people is the reason the world is so f@cked up....you get the strong minded people who take advantage of the week who are about as many as relegions....10? 12 maybe i dont know...but thats is the reason....make money and power on other peoples weekness and the need to believe in something...believe in relegion, or material stuff, or anything...they made people believe in anything except love actually which is the only thing that matters..there you go....simple as that!!

The society they grew up in. We must be brave enough to declare that every culture must create its own God idea rather than rely upon outworn tradition. Every culture has devised its own way of responding to the riddle of the cosmos, there are any different ways of being human.
