WHY??? would you pay lots of money for it?? i like paintings and pictures of nature and animals, calming sort of pictures, but whats up with this modern obsession to have people who are almost dehumanized bloody and monstrous, why is it that macabre art is so bleeding appealing...? i find it freaks me out.

I personally play in two samba bands and learned a little bit of samba dancing while I was in Brasil. Yet I came back and played a samba parade, and was put down by a couple people that what we did were not samba, and that he real samba required partners and good/steady/upright form. I knew that Brasilian Samba came before ballroom but didn't argue in return at that moment.

However, I did feel a sense of cultural disrespect that from the two ballroom dancers who commented to me. I wonder why they think they were the ones who got it right? Of course, not all ballroom dancers think that way I am sure.

Another question is regarding Cuban Rumba and ballroom Rumba. The two are not even the same dance, yet they share the same name. Why is that? Cuban Rumba was formed way earlier than Ballroom Rumba..., if two styles are different, why should they be sharing the same name?

I have been stockinette-ing (nothing but knit on the circular needles) but I think i have the wrong-side of the piece out - the stockinette flares out and up from the 'top' of the needles - some reason this seems backwards - does it even matter? and i want to taper soon - what knit will taper "in" toward the center of the needles - I'm knitting a cap and I'm trying to just "wing it" as I go along - but the cap I've adapted some design ideas from goes from stockinette to knits to reduce

We seem to be constantly making time to decorate, rearrange, enjoy, manipulate and/or construct Spaces and Objects, but what do you do to purely enjoy Time. Do you meditate, make love, drive fast, jump out of a plane, ........? What do (or can) you do to just explore and enjoy TIME itself (and for its own sake)? …. Is such a thing even possible?

Sometimes I wonder where is my little fuzzy baby, what is he up to and will I regret it later. Sometimes, when he is with me and keeping me company like a good little buddy. He gets playful in a kitty cat way, and then there is that look in his eyes - the look of trouble.
Is it worrysome or should I not be concerned about it, cats will be cats - right?

why when the word "SEX" presents its self all guys go into temporary self-inflicted blackouts??? im sure they dont call them blackouts, but i do, because they switch the "off" button in their brains, dont rememeber anything else after the most wanted word, dont remember anything before, so its a blackout. its like this, u think u have this connection, and then u want to sound all liberal and cool, and careless about the no-no converstational topics of society (im an arab) and u utter the "S" word, sex, so the connection between u and this guy (who u deep down might even have thought something can go from this conversation, u start planning the wedding, thinking about cards, how ur babies will look like if they had his nose, or better yet his beautiful honey-coloured eyes with my smile and hair, so practically yeah, we **** up as well, but we DONT SHOW IT!), starts to decline rapidly it makes ur head hurt, then it disconnects, and he goes like this, with this silly smirk on his face " so sex ha?" and that's it, u cant delete it, u cant drag/drop it into anywhere else except his pants, so,conclusion BLACKOUTS!

so guys, heeey guys WAKE UP, im still here u know! looool, so really men, y is that? it is true that u think about sex quite a lot, like every 5 or 10 secs "a lot"? im talking per day here.
and when u see a girl bending, ur imagination goes where? or when she licks her lips? or makes an "ahhh" sound (we're very vocal i know!) when she moves, or sits on a chair, or anything, really, does that get into u?? like really really ? i wanna know, to see how many ***** stand up for me everyday?!no offense intended, but pun is! lol

Especially when someone picks your answer, over someone else who is higher ranked than yourself?

Not the feeling of vanity coz you're smarter, but a good feeling that maybe you made a real difference to someone in need of an answer to their question thats been bothering them.

Sometimes, we're overwhelmed by our own concerns and obligatons, we can't think of the right solution. Even if is right under our nose. Someitmes, we just don't have the experience or wisdom to see something in a different perspective. There is the hope that there is someone out there who may have the answer to our question, and for a minute or two, they may take us seriously and give us a hella good answer.

It may just make their day, that feeling of relief and being able to go on with their lives - and sometimes, the answer is just so funny that it tops off the day on a good note, your troubles aren't as bad as you might of thought.
