Because instead of thinking objectively we think defensively! People who think ‘why not’ instead of ‘why’ are generally more successful in life.
Eg: when America was thinking why carry on the space project, Sir Richard Branson was thinking why not!
That’s why he setup the X-prise; that’s going to bring him millions in space tourism.
