Why do people that say that they don't believe in God feel compelled to come to see what people that believe in God are saying?

Some spend a couple of hours a day in the "religion and spirituality" section. Are they bored? Curious? Or, are they just looking for any opportunity to blaspheme te Creator that they claim does not exist.

Strange lot, these "atheists", no?

I file single and only made $18,409 this year. I paid $1217 in withholding. So why is my tax return only $157? This woman I work with has like 7 kids and gets a lovely check over $9000 from the IRS, ridiculous! Is she getting my money or what?

new years eve, and i normally am out by now, hanging with some friends, or at a all nighter party, but this time around, my friends that host the party (the all nighter) moved about 3 hours away, and no one else is in town... what do you all do when something like this happens???

You are visiting New York City and are allowed to travel to the top of the Empire State Building. You're curious to know how tall the building is and, rather than research the height of the building, you decide to put your Algebra 2 skills to good use and calculate the height of the building by experimenting. You spit over the edge of the railing (by letting the spit dangle and drop, thus imparting no initial velocity) and time how long it takes it to reach the ground. If it takes 8 1/8 seconds to land, how tall was the building?

This is a different type of problem. Haven't worked with these in class yet. We were supposed to figure it out over vacation.

I would have to say my parents. They got married when my mom was 16 and my dad was 17 and through it all, they still have a wonderful, strong marriage (something to be respected in this day of quickie divorces). They also both were high school drop outs. They now have really good jobs, and my mom is even a few months away from getting her Master's Degree! They always did so much for my brother and I, and if my marriage and my relationship with my kids is half as good as what they have, I'll be happy. They have stuck by me through it all, and I believe that I would not be who I am today without my parents love and guidance.

this is my first i pod....so when i was setting up it said "PAYMENT OPTIONS" and it had choices of visa, master card, American express etc. and you had to type in your card number. When i asked my mom for her credit card she said she wasn't gonna let me pay with her card ( i dont have one) sooo what do i do? is there any other way i can pay? should i just return the i pod?

NOTE: she thought i could just pay using the itunes gift cards...

My most memorable one had to be the song by Eiffel 65, "Blue".

All those years at CC Costa Mesa, 3-4 services on Sudays and 1-2 every weekday, the school and the store. It's got to be one of the most profitable businesses in the Orange County. Where has all the money gone. Absolutely zero accountability in the name of God. so sad.

A. I was going to CC in Costa Mesa for years before I fell for their trap of recruiting for dollars and not God.

B. I took a look at the website and after some recommendations and I still see this church being a cash cow in the name of God. This is from one of the schools- keep an eye on discount rate...

"The tuition rates for the 2007-2008 school year will be:

* Grades K-6: $4,310
* Grades 7-8: $4,560
* Grades 9-12: $6,100
* All Day Kindergarten: $7,000

Tuition is payable in 10 monthly payments, due the first of each month from August through May.

A short version of the formula is "=A2&B2&C2&D2"

I have a lot of columns that I need to add to that formula and they're next to each other (columns A2-Z2). What's a faster way to create the formula, aside from clicking on each cell while typing the formula? Thanks.

I often have to go to work very early in the morning and have noticed that it rarely rains at about 5 a.m. but will rain, if it is going to, later in day.

Also why does it very rarely rain continuously for more than one day?

I had to board my cat at the vet for two weeks while I was away. She just got home today, and she's being very shy. She is generally a very laid-back, sweet, affectionate cat. She was super hyper when she first got home, running around the apartment. But she acts like she doesn't even know me. I know it will take time for her to get back into the swing of things, but do you think it's possible that she doesn't remember me? I've had her for about 4 months. I just ask because I don't have a lot of experience with cats, and we've never been apart like this.
