It's going to be 2008, when did time begin, and when will it end?

Two-thousand and eight years since what? Since earth was made, or since God created Earth? Who decided when time began? If it began, then when will it end?

2008 years since a estimate of when Jesus might have been born.

There is no evidence that the world was created, however there is a lot of evidence that points to the world being about 4.5 billion years old and the universe about 13 (can't remember if it's 13 or 18) billion years old.

Essentially time as we know it, began when the big bang happened, which is when this universe started.

Sorry forgot about the end. Not quite sure if we have a valid theory about the end yet, however it is clear that on extremely small scales time gets weird and that black holes twist and potentially consume time.
