All those years at CC Costa Mesa, 3-4 services on Sudays and 1-2 every weekday, the school and the store. It's got to be one of the most profitable businesses in the Orange County. Where has all the money gone. Absolutely zero accountability in the name of God. so sad.

A. I was going to CC in Costa Mesa for years before I fell for their trap of recruiting for dollars and not God.

B. I took a look at the website and after some recommendations and I still see this church being a cash cow in the name of God. This is from one of the schools- keep an eye on discount rate...

"The tuition rates for the 2007-2008 school year will be:

* Grades K-6: $4,310
* Grades 7-8: $4,560
* Grades 9-12: $6,100
* All Day Kindergarten: $7,000

Tuition is payable in 10 monthly payments, due the first of each month from August through May.
Discounts:

Multiple child discounts are:
2nd student: $500 discount
3rd student: $1,000 discount
4th student on: no tuition"

isn't God great?

That's pretty normal fees for a private school, religious or otherwise. So are the discounts.

Yes, it's very high, but it's also about normal for private schools these days.

I know, I've had five kids and have checked these things out numerous times over the years, all types of private schools from religious to non-religious.

All of them were waaaaaay too expensive for me, no matter what area of the country we have lived in (midwest, nebraska, and south) , and even with the discounts.

What killed me was, after I'd inquire about a school of course they asked my name and address, and after learning the tuition and fees and telling them "thanks but no thanks, cannot afford it at ALL" a few weeks later I would get a letter from them in the mail asking for DONATIONS to their schools! Unreal.

I used to write on them and then mail them back in the envelope provided, "I can't even afford to send my OWN kids to your school because of your high tuition costs, and you think I'm going to send you money so other people's kids can go?? Dream on. How rude of you."

After a while I just started throwing them away and pretty soon they stopped coming in the mail.

He would if he knew you.
Have you truly been born again by the water and the Spirit (John 3:5) ?

Have you ever asked to see their finances to see what they use the money for? Most churches I know of will show them to anyone who asks. Or are you just assuming someone is living high on the hog on the money?
