this is my first i pod....so when i was setting up it said "PAYMENT OPTIONS" and it had choices of visa, master card, American express etc. and you had to type in your card number. When i asked my mom for her credit card she said she wasn't gonna let me pay with her card ( i dont have one) sooo what do i do? is there any other way i can pay? should i just return the i pod?

NOTE: she thought i could just pay using the itunes gift cards...

you HAVE to enter the credit card info to get an account

you CAN pay with just gift cards , just make sure that you don't spend more than your balance and your mom's card won't be charged

Isn't that beautiful? A little pip squeak calling her mother a b---h!! Believe me, your fanny would be RED and the Ipod would be long gone if you ever pulled that stuff in our house. You undisciplined twerp. You want an Ipod? Get out and earn your money to buy it.

First of all your mother is not a *********. Your mother was able to give you something that you wanted. Be thankful for that. Just so you know you can download any of your Cd's that you already have into Itunes. After you have done that connect your Ipod to your PC and it will down load them to your Ipod.

Actually, I think it's unfair to say your mom is being a "*********" for being responsible. Most iPod downloads are $.99 or more. Now... imagine you being responsible for the credit card payment after downloading 100+ songs in one night (very easy to do). Give her a break. She is correct; you can purchase downloads with your iTunes gift card. Good luck and be patient.

No you cant just use gift cards, you must register a credit card number.

I think the best solution would be buying a prepaid visa card at your local walmart. Register with that number and then you can use your giftcards once you have registered. From now on, insted of buying iTunes gift cards just use that cash to load money onto your prepaid visa card.

Hope this helps.

They just have you put your card in there to keep in your account so you don't need to buy songs with your card. It's very useful when buying through the iPod touch.

If your mom is worried about her credit card info being on the web, it's very safe. It's actually what Amazon.com does, for one-click ordering. You store your credit card info on your Amazon account, so you don't have to enter it every time you make an order. Same idea.

Geeze, ungrateful person right here. >_>

Anyways, show your mom exactly how much what you're doing is and offer her the same amount in cash. Then let HER do the online transaction, with your guidance if she isn't internet savvy.

You should get a prepaid credit card. It is a good starter card which will help teach not to over spend with it.

if you have the cash for it. You can just but a Visa,Master card, or American express Prepaid credit card, which you can use to buy/pay for things online.Sold at most stores like CVS, Rite Aid and walmart.

or if your over 17 and 9 months you can get ur own check card with a bank and pay for it that way.
