Why do people that say that they don't believe in God feel compelled to come to see what people that believe in God are saying?
Some spend a couple of hours a day in the "religion and spirituality" section. Are they bored? Curious? Or, are they just looking for any opportunity to blaspheme te Creator that they claim does not exist.
Strange lot, these "atheists", no?

Have you ever noticed how touchy they get when they get challenged about their interest in religion and spirituality?

Christians believe they are spreading seeds of faith....small seeds that could sprout in other's lives.
Athiests, who are anti-Christians, do the same thing with anti-faith. They spread seeds of doubt.
I have been on the Internet 10 years now and athiests are the same today as they were then: the same arguments, the same rhetoric, the same everything. They haven't changed...they haven't grown. The other religions, on the other hand, have evolved quite a bit in that same 10 years time.

gosh you think of it replaced into atheists who offered Dan Browns fiction? I first heard approximately it from a christian i be conscious of who replaced into somewhat into it - I have been given it from the library and concept it replaced into in all probability the worst written e book I even have ever study in spite of the reality that it did have a quickly moving plot very plenty a boys action e book. i'm re-interpreting barbara kingsolver -the poisonwood bible on the 2d - i desire to propose it. It replaced into interior the the best decision a hundred ideal reads. i think of you have it somewhat incorrect somewhat - I dont desire any 2d opinios for my disbelief as I even have by no potential believed so that's juts my organic way out - I come here to submit Q &A because of the fact it somewhat is heavily solid guidance for assembly closed minded fundamentalists in a secure environment. that's notably healing for me - plenty safer than being compelled out interior the line. this type i for my section get to decline thank you as I even have my own little inviolable area with rights- i will think of with the aid of what i desire to assert with out being pressurized with the complicated sell and a good number of threats. it somewhat is robust for me to work out human beings not worrying . not for a 2d opinion yet because of the social element of refusing to be well mannered to those that're being rude - I delight in the modelling that i'm getting to witness. I re-iterate its great therapy to counter the abusive suggestions administration concepts of people who're so advantageous of their rightness. I come here to not attempt to alter anybodys suggestions or my own yet to income the thank you to administration people who can not go away me in peace. it somewhat is working i'm getting to grasp and due to you all.

Because they think that you and the rest of you theists are completely full of shi+ when it comes to all this religion business, and feel a duty to help educate their fellow human beings out of it. Atheism is a philosophy that deals with religion and spirituality (and specifically, debunking its false claims), so that gives atheists the same right to post here as you have and you're just going to have to deal with it. And not all forms of spirituality involve believing in a God or some organized religion anyway. And why do you think anybody would "blaspheme" a God they don't believe exists? Atheists don't believe in the concept of "blasphemy" or "sin" in the first place, so have you even examined your own logic? Think about it. If you're true to your faith and your religion happens to be correct in the end, then the challenges posed by people questioning it shouldn't be a threat to it, and can only help strengthen it further. So you shouldn't be complaining at all.

athiests are certainly not the only ones who get threatened when their beliefs are challenged. ive yet to see an athiest proposing to ban a childrens book (harry potter anyone?) cause it will reserve a place in hell for us. besides, some people are here because they have a genuine interest in debating (debating, not flaming, i dont condone putting down others beliefs)

I asked this question when I first started answering here. I have come to the conclusion that they hang out here for the most part in an attempt to show us Christians the error of our ways. They don't want us to have God because they don't.
A very select few are actually searching.
However, on the flip side, you will also find a lot of Christians on here who are here only to smack people up side the head with their bibles instead of love and enlighten.
So, I guess it goes both ways.

If we consider ourselves Christians, Jesus only left us with only two suggestions for dealing with Atheists.
First He ask us not to judge them.
Secondly He ask us to love our neighbor.
Atheists are our neighbors.
End of discussion.
Love and blessings Don
