When you think, now really think about an object, it’s meaning changes for that time period of which you are thinking hard. For example, a tree. A tree is a living organism. We all know what a tree is, but what really IS it? It is a name for an object that often grows to be very tall....

Does anyone get my flow here? It is like when you are berrated with an idea or word, like repeating tree to yourself thirty hundred times, then you lose its meaning!

Does anyone have a better explaination for this phenonmenon?

im 21 years old im a healthy male. 6 foot 185 pounds athletic built. about 10 days ago my heart was beating extremly fast i felt dizzy i had palpulations so i went to the hospital they took my blood for tests and did an EKG and said its an anxiety attack... im not stressed about anything or depressed how can i have an anxiety attack?so why still 10 days later i have lack of apetite some back and neck pain( mild), could it be that is all in my head?

The great debate as to wether mans eager consumption of fossil fuels contributes to, or indeed is the cause of, global warming seems to me a useless one. Does it really matter? None of the fossil fuels are an infinate resource, and the majority of what's left of the crude oil is to be found in areas of the world not exactly known for stability. Shouldn't we be making every effort to lesson our dependence on them as soon as possible, regardless of global warming?

would it be possible to attach a thermoelectric coupling to a ammonia (absorbtion) type fridge? The TEC could absorb heat from the inside and add heat to the outside ammonia boiler, possibly not needing the gas or electric original source. The TEC would require power but overall setup may be more efficient.

We were talking today about really horrible movies that we had seen. This was a horror flick, and it was about a bunch of teenagers who were on a trip, and I remember they went to see some crater. They were in an old yellow car if I remember correctly. They get back in their car and discover it won't start. A lot of other stuff happens, but there are some people who are killers, and they mess with peoples cars. There is a field of abandoned cars that the teenagers find, and a room, where they find IDs, cameras, cell phones, etc of the people who were killed. Does anyone have any clue what this movie is?

k so ive been listening 2 music full blast (directly in my ears) since 4th grd & i used 2 listen 2 pop music but ever since 6th grd ive gotten into rock heavy metal and hard rock. KORN is my fav band EVER!! i usually listen 2 my music during passing time which is like 6 min (full blast) and a lot of ppl tell me that i will completely lose my hearing & i wanna kno if thatll actually happen or will i just not hear as well as i should. im 14 & this is pratically an addiction for me. my music is so loud that when u pass by me (w/o any background noise) u can hear the words (well almost) ive had my 5th Generation iPod 4 a year now, so now the music is LOUDER! when i go 2 the doctor 4 my check-up & take the hearing test beepie thingie i usually get like a perfect score! so my question is will i lose my hearing or some of it? i dont wanna be 16 and have 2 wear a hearing aid!

I mean, if it's a maximum $500 fine for smoking in a public place; then technically a millionaire could do it all the time and not care.

Can't they see how much $500 is per an average income and find a percentage to use.

Maybe something like "$200 or 2.5%" so that way poor people could still get fined.

I usually only hear this claim from the more ultra-conservative branches of Christianity, but for heaven's sake, every single bit of information I can find on the web from Wikipedia onwards includes catholics as Christians. In fact many state they are the original Christians. I struggle to understand...is this just hatred and bigotry?
