I am a 34 year old, die hard video gamer and semi pro hockey player. Well, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Wii this Christmas. I wanted to try out the new technology. The price is right at $250.00. I can't see paying $500.00+ for an Xbox or PS3, since pc gaming is way better. I have to say, the Nintendo Wii is amazing. I thought the technology was going to be glitchy, but it's not. The technology in the Nintedo Wii is way before it's time. I even break a sweat while playing some of the games, like boxing and tennis. With bringing excercise to video game consoles, will the Wii and this new technology take over. I am looking forward to more virtual gaming that includes excersising while we play. What do you think?

what do you think of those, where the guy goes from being a pig to a human, and the message is "be a man"?

this belongs in the politics section because it deals with "political correctness".

how do you think an ad where a dog turns into a woman and the message is "be a woman" would go over? just curious. would women find this offensive?

i happen to think that its a couples responsibility to use protection, not just the man or the woman's (or the pig and the dog's; however you want to look at it).

I've been with my husband for 8 years, 7 of which were mentally, verbally and physically abusive. I've left him several times and everytime he convinces me to come back home. I usually come back because of our daughter and because finances won't permit me to live on my own. Every time I come back home, it gets better. He has stopped hitting me and his verbal assaults are at an all time low, but the truth is that I hate him! He doesn't seem to understand why. He feels that since he's gotten better that the situation as a whole should be better and we should just forgive and forget. I can't forget. I just can't! The situation hasn't gotten better, I've just gotten strong enough to let him know I won't take this anymore. Every time I look at him being so nice to me I want to vomit. I don't want to make it work and he just doesn't get it. He blames my attitude on my job, on us not spending enough time together and me being un-organized. Everything but him. I just want to leave safely. HELP

Im new to driving in snow and apparently i suck at it. i can not control my car from slidding. Do chains help with ice as well as snow. I feel dumb driving with them since i have never seen anyone using them where i live but im gonna end up crashing!! Help!!

My son is 5 years old and ive been with my partner for 2 years. My son's dad died when he was 2 years old so never really knew him.

My partner and my son share a great bond and he's a great dad, he also has a biological son of his own

This morning however, my partner snapped at my son, not aggressively,just firm but it really upset my son as he hasn't done it before. I must admit, i was suprised too so was just wondering,do any other mums feel as though a partner has the right to tell off their children ?
